Cindy Sheehan Blames Gerald Ford for Iraq War, "Deaths of over 3000 American soldiers"
Wednesday, December 27, 2006 | Kristinn

Posted on 12/27/2006 2:13:45 PM PST by kristinn

On the occasion of the death of President Gerald Ford, anti-American activist Cindy Sheehan released a statement today blaming Ford for the war in Iraq and the "deaths of over 3000 American soldiers" in the conflict.

Sheehan, whose son Army Spc. Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq in 2004, wrote about Ford on BuzzFlash.com, a leftist website.

Sheehan has become the face of the antiwar movement since she started stalking President Bush at his Crawford, Texas ranch in August, 2005. She is currently in Crawford, as is President Bush.

After writing the obligatory condolences on his passing, Sheehan ripped in to Ford:

Usually, burying a 93 year old loved one is sorrowful but, I believe his pardon of Richard Nixon is one of the factors that have led to the untimely deaths of over 3000 American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in the Middle East. Just this month alone, 91 of our young people have met early, avoidable, unnecessary and tragic deaths in Bloody George's horrific war. In a month when most people picked out Christmas trees and had joy-filled celebrations in the season of lights, 91 of our nation's families went shopping for burial plots or urns and their holidays will never be the same again.

One of the talking heads on one of the cable news shows (does it matter which?) said that it was a "great thing for America" that Gerald Ford pardoned the crooked war criminal, Richard Nixon. He said that we don't make public spectacles out of trying our presidents in criminal courts. After all, we are not a "banana republic."

No, the United States of America is not a "banana republic" Mr. Talking Head, but since Nixon got away with his blatant crimes and every President since Nixon has skated away from office after having committed overt and covert crimes, we have on our hands, here, a situation that I am forced now to call: "Bloody George."

Bloody George struts around in a cloud of denial with his fake cowboy swagger, breaking our nation's laws and international laws as if he were immune from life's woes and above any law. What Mr. Talking Head was pointing out to us in his ridiculous commentary was that presidents are above the law that they swear to uphold. Presidents of other countries who are found guilty of murdering 148 people are not apparently above the law -- Bloody George plays banana republic justice in other countries while countenancing none of the same here in the U.S. of A.

Cindy Sheehan has long since passed in to buffoon status, but her dogged stalking of President Bush and her alliance with terrorist supporting leftists here in America and around the world makes her worth keeping an eye on. That and her fantasies of killing President Bush.

Never in a million years would Sheehan use the word "countenancing" in a sentence, much less know the meaning.

I wonder what left-looney she had write this idiotic article?

Agreed, she's being used and is too wrapped up in herself to realise it or just maybe her hate has twisted her mind. Anyway, found a link to support the posting.

Kristinn, I was hoping beyond all hope that this was satire...like something she would say, or in the line of DFU's "why Cheney must go" where he lists the crimes of Cheney that are REALLY those of famous Democrats (who always seem to get a pass)...

However, knowing that you are a serious dude, and therefore have no time for frivolous stuff like this UNLESS it IS real, I just look at it and shake my head. I wish I could say that it surprises me. I cannot. We always say, "we must defeat these people at the ballot box." This time, we did not.

Looking at some of the footage of President Ford on C-SPAN, I'm reminded of the image of Tip O Neil in the Speaker's Chair as the President delivered his address. We're going to have to endure the image of Nancy D'Alessandro Lugosi for the remaining SOTU's of our President...reminders that people like Leaky Leahy, Jay Leakyfeller, Dingy Harry, Barbara Botoxer, John Carry (hoo sirved en Veeetnahmmm), John Murtha, Dennis Kucinich, and all of these other fellow travelers of Cindy Me-han got one over on us.

Oh well. Perhaps SOME day, someone is going to mention that senators from both parties wrote to the occupant of the Oval Office in 1998 urging the President to do something about Saddam and his WMD, and to take all necessary action, including the use of force...(who was President then, Cindy?)...

Perhaps someone will mention that the timing of this WMD talk was right around the time that B-Job Clinton was facing impeachment...

Perhaps someone will mention that the vote for the Iraq war was taken in a Senate controlled by the Democrats (thanks to Jumpin Jim) and that two separate debates were taken, to ensure that the Democrats could finally say they were tough on defense...

Perhaps for all the talk about Iraq being Vietnam, or Grenada being Vietnam, or any war started by - or still going on into - a Republican president is Vietnam, someone will mention which party actually started Vietnam, and under whose party Vietnam escalated...

Perhaps someone will finally mention that the turn against the war really started when the Democrats not only did not regain the House, but also lost the Senate...

Perhaps for all the a-holes that keep saying that we've lost more people in Iraq than on 9-11, someone will mention that those lost in Iraq were in just under 4 years...while those lost on 9-11 were in just under 4 HOURS...like, two hours less than 4 hours.

Perhaps...nah...

I have the perfect ending to those "WE PREFER THE LEFT" billboards from Scair America. I'll get banned if I post it, though.

Too bad her son didn't stick around long enough to beat her ass in a post-traumatic stress rage on leave. I am sure she would have driven him to one since he re-upped what? 3 times for duty?

Memories from the State of the Union ---

MIDI - YOU'RE SO VAIN

You walked in to the chamber like you were thinking you owned the place
Your shirt strategically hidden underneath...you really are a disgrace
You had one eye that was bloodshot like you had been nailed with mace
And the Code Pinkos thought you were their hero, you were their hero

But you're insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you
You are insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you, don't you, don't you?

You really lost it a few years ago...your brave son had lost his life
You caused your husband to pull out all his hair...he dumped you, you wretched wife
If you didn't leave, he threatened to...end it all with a knife
You had a dream you would drive Bush from office, drive Bush from office, and

You're insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you
You are insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you...don't you, don't you?

Then they dragged your worthless butt out of there...and carted you off to jail
There's speculation on all the moonbat blogs...who would be posting bail
All the Democrats were whining loud...they do that without fail
And the Code Pinkos thought you were their hero, you were their hero

But you're insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you
You are insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you, don't you, don't you?

You're insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you
You're insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you
You're insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you
You're insane...you prob'ly think the speech is about you

We'll probably hear from her again when they hang Saddam blaming everything he did on Bush.

Hell's bells, the entire Left establishment will probably have a candlelight vigil to "honor" Saddam when that day comes. ("Fellow travelers", and all)

It's all the same...Cindy Me-han, the Breck Girl running for President on the day the nation is mourning a former one...free money and free publicity from an obsequious complicit media. *sigh*

p.s. Rush will probably be loaded for bear when he gets back on Tuesday...new Congress, James Brown, passing of a President, et. al. Well, he always says that news breaks the second he goes on vacation...
