Priceless photo and post at PowerLine today:
On his visit to Iraq, Senator Kerry apparently got something like the silent treatment from the troops who are "stuck" there. WDAY's Scott Hennen quotes a message from a friend serving in Iraq: This is a true story....Check out this photo from our mess hall at the US Embassy yesterday morning. Sen. Kerry found himself all alone while he was over here. He cancelled his press conference because no one came, he worked out alone in the gym w/o any soldiers even going up to say hi or ask for an autograph (I was one of those who was in the gym at the same time), and he found himself eating breakfast with only a couple of folks who are obviously not troops.
What is amazing is Bill O'Reilly came to visit with us and the troops at the CSH the same day and the line for autographs extended through the palace and people waited for two hours to shake his hand. You decide who is more respected and loved by us servicemen and women!

"He may have talked Clinton into upgrading it but it started out as a general discharge."
It was Carter who upgraded his discharge, not Clinton. The deed was done in 1977 according to John O'Neill a Swiftboat Veteran who served with greater distinction than you know who.

Don't you just love watching Kerry get his? If I were him, God forbid, I wouldn't run again, rather, I would have run away! That, I'm sure he has done before.

"That, I'm sure he has done before."How about whenever he gets himself in yet another mess of his own making; every single time???
You know, I have often wondered just how it was that John Heintz' plane went down...and now Kerry is stuck with Theresa!

Yep... would have love to been in that chow hall.
"Hey John do want any catsup on that, or did you change your mind?"
To: Nancee
"Hey John, how about some waffles?"
"So John, do you really prefer Hunts Catsup over your wife, er...Heintz?"
To: CalvaryJohn
John Kerry gets a much deserved send-off from the troops in Iraq...

Don't bet on it. This clod has no class at all. My clod of phlegm I just dumped in the toilet has more class than Kerry.

OMG! How pathetic! Maybe he will get the MESSAGE now!Not a chance. He believes he is superior and that unless someone in uniform has a plan to be the C-in-C and is there only to get his/her ticket punched, they don't deserve to sit with him.

I can't imagine him ever getting it and refusing to listen to anyone over what a fool he is making of himself...unless he is trying to lose in '08.
To: Minnesocold

He look so pitiful sitting there, doesn't he?
