Not the best prez we ever had, but from all accounts a very good man. In fact, Ford has more right to lay claim of the title "good man" than Jimmah "the Jew hater" Carter!

I shall remember him for reminding me of what America is about, at a time whem we had filled ourselves with doubt and despair. At ceremonies marking the BiCentennial he said
" The rest of the world may or may not follow, but We lead because the whole course of our History says that We must."
