Please help.
I am trying to find BJ Camper. Age late 20s. (27?) Born Stockton, CA and raised in Manteca, CA. Last known residence was Anchorage, Alaska. He was apparently working on fishing boats. He also once had a MySpace page under BJ Camper but he has removed the page. We do not know if the BJ stands for anything.
If any Freepers know of his where-abouts, we need to contact him ASAP. His mother, Carolyn Jean Camper is dying and has only about 2-3 days to live.
If you know him, have him contact his brother Babby Camper or call Doctor's Hospital in Manteca, CA
This is probably a "six degrees of separation" thing... somebody knows him or knows somebody.
Please pray for a miracle for his mother. She has had both legs amputated due to diabetes and suffered a heart attack last night and is in a coma.

We'll say a prayer for her, and that her son be found in time.

Did you post to the California and Washington State, and Alaska pages? I'm sorry I can't help more.

Sorry to hear that. Nevermind, re: post #16.

If he is still in Alaska the Alaska State Troppers will help you find him.

Another thing you could try Tuesday morning is the Alaska State Permanent Fund office. If he's been here long enough to claim residency then he probably has appilied for a PFD check. Their database is always very current because you have to reapply every year. You used to be able to access the list online but for some reason I cant find it.

Good luck and prayers said for his mother.

Do you have a full name - i.e., not just "BJ?"

Swordmaker,
Best bet in Alaska fishing industry is to figure he is probably working the chain(Aleutians) if he is chasing money.
here is the number for The Elbow Room in Dutch Harbor - ((907) 581-4242
Grand Aleutian Hotel - 907-581-3844. I recommend The Elbow room for information.
The Bar (Elbow Room) is where information will be most readily available, onshore and off. Unless you've been there, and know the industry a bit, couldn't begin to explain it to someone in America, but this is your best bet.
I will post on the Alaska FR page for you.
