On the other hand, it's a whole lot better than it used to be. I can just about remember it in the 1950s and the chorus of every song seemed to be:

Good article that is very true. I do have to make one minor correction:

That should read "and unable to drive your kids to church on Sunday Morning".

Excellent article. I was never into country music but since moving back from Los Angeles I've become addicted to it. Yet, it's not the true, pure country music as in the past. That I didn't care for so much. I'll take Gretchen Wilson over Britney Spears, and, JoeDon Rooney (yum) over any of the male singers any day!
Homos like Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney, and liberals like Faith and Tim don't tell me about middle America's soul.
