Holocaust denier David Irving on Friday said Jews should ask themselves why they have been hated throughout history.
"They [Jews] should ask themselves the question, 'Why have they been so hated for 3000 years that there has been pogrom after pogrom in country after country?', said Irving, speaking at a press conference he convened in England on Friday, a day after he was released from an Austrian prison.
Irving, who was sentenced to three years in prison for denying the Holocaust, was released last week after his appeal was granted.
Asked if he sees himself as anti-Semitic, Irving said, "No, I like to think I am not."
But immediately following his answer, Irving expressed his support for Mel Gibson's comments that "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world."
Irving also took pride in the success of his books and claimed that he the fortune he made from sales of his biography on World War II German General Erwin Rommel enabled him to walk into a car showroom with a paper bag stuffed with cash to buy a "Nigger brown Rolls-Royce."
Irving's comments aroused great anger within Britain's Jewish community.
Lord Janner, president of the Holocaust Educational Trust, said Irving's release was "unwarranted" and that Irving's "latest comments were totally to be expected and should be totally ignored."

Jews are hated becausee they too few in number to be a threat and sufficiently successful to elicit in envy and reaction.
Jewish people need to stop thinking the mainstream media are their friends.
Mainstream Media = end of Israel
"...sales of his biography on World War II German General Erwin Rommel enabled him to walk into a car showroom with a paper bag stuffed with cash to buy a "Nigger brown Rolls-Royce."
In the USA, this is what will piss everyone off. Where's Jesse, Al and the NAACP??
First, whenever the Jews moved into an area (such as those in Europe), they set themselves apart in particular ways. The ways in which they lived said to the indigenous population (in Europe, Catholics and later all types of Christians):
1) Your children are not good enough for my children (no social contact or intermarriage)
2)Your food is not good enough for me (we only eat kosher food), and
3) Your God is not good enough for me (We consider Him a false prophet)
Now that alone would be enough to invite anger from the population, but the Jews made it worse. How? Because they were successful intellectually and economically. Just my opinion...
Yes, there are very few of us left - and look at all the hatred. Pretty awful.
I've never met a rabid antisemite who wasn't a failure. Their antisemitism is a virulent form of blame shifting. Unable to accept the notion that THEY are responsible for their own failure they shift responsibiity to Jews. Jews are and easy target. But in the end if Jews didn't exist the failures of the world would find another victim to blame for their failure.
Very carefully thought out. Thank you.
There is something else that I did not mention previously, mainly because I do not think it was a major reason for universal hatred, but may have played an important role in specific expulsions, and that is at certain points the non-Jews owed them money that they had loaned them and getting rid of the Jews was an easy way to get rid of their debts.
God didn't say they were chosen because they were His favorites. He could have chosen" The Chinese or Europeans as His vehicle of Revelation, but He chose the Hebrews. Believers are His favorites. "Chosen", in this sense means they were chosen to reveal the oracles of God. They reveal Jesus even though they don't believe. Their history, culture, and religion reveals the coming of Jesus. This is why they should have been the first to declare Jesus as the Christ. The first Church was made up of Jews that became believers. The other Jews end up in Hell with the rest of the non believers. They don't somehow have a "get out of jail" card because they are Jews. Jesus declared to Nicodemus that He was surprised he didn't realize you had to be "born again" to go to Heaven. Had Nicodemus not believed Jesus was The Christ, he too would have gone to Hell, even being high up in the Jewish church.
The misunderstanding of the word "Chosen" has caused many problems for Jews and others over the years. A study of Jewish law, Feast and Festivals, culture and customs, is one of the most enlightening Bible studies a Christian can do. You will understand more of the Bible than you ever thought you could if you learn to think as the Jews think. Ask a Jew for Jesus to teach at your church sometime. You won't regret it. The Christian church is having the same problems the Jews had in the time of Christ. Jesus was a Jew, and as such did everything a Jew was supposed to do. The Rabbi's at the time didn't like His interpretation of the Law, so they turned on Him. That is why Jesus warned us about the "traditions of men."
Today's Christian church is filled with the same stiff necked people that make things up as they go along and have their own traditions and rules. God has never changed and the rules remain the same. Jesus said He came to fulfill the Law, not change it. We should look more like Orthodox Jews than we look as Christians.
I'm not a 7th Day Adventist, but they are correct that God never changed the Sabbath. That is just one example of many that Christians have traditionalized and have set themselves apart from the Jews. If you study the Feast days of the Jews, it will give new meaning to the stories of the Bible, and give insight in to prophetic coming events, such as the Rapture, Judgment Day, and the millennial reign of Christ.
I had wondered what happened to this thread. I thought it had gotten pulled.
In fact I've heart the Jews for Jewish speak many times. Thank you for the post, I shall re-read it carefully.
I think I'm just in awe of their history and contributions to society, as well as perplexed by these folks.
I'm going to investigate this thread now.
I've also read that borrowing actually went agains church teaching during the Roman Empire. So it was considered immoral, yet out of necessity I'm sure many people utilized the Jews to borrow money.
Very interesting point.
Yes...it went against church law throughout the medieval period. The Knights Templar and the Jews were the only ones allowed to do it, as I understand.
And they've been bastards ever since

And in the fields of merchanting and moneylending, the predominant characteristic that determines success is intelligence. And since up until the last century or so, success was defined as "having enough to keep you and your children from starving", those fields had a powerful effect on genetic natural selection
Thomas Sowell has written a number of books about the role of culture in the success of various ethnic groups (I'm currently reading "Black Rednecks and White Liberals" ). Jews are not the only "middle man minorities". In Asia and the Pacific Islands, the overseas Chinese have been doing the same roles as the Jews did in Europe. The Lebanese in Western Africa. The Indian in eastern and southern Africa. All these middleman minorities incur the wrath of the native elite, who stir up the locals against them
Why, because their wealth, and the power that can come from it, threatens the power and position of the native elite
So David, when are you going to write another biography that claims that Hermann Goering was just a misunderstood transvestite?
As an example in another part of the world, look at the ethic Chinese in Indonesia. Disproportunately successful. Of a different religion than the majority Muslims. Of a culture that valued education and hard work. Kept themselves separate. They were disproportionately slaughtered in 1965 (The Year of Living Dangerously) and subjected to pogroms other times
