Heavens your post indicates that you fail to grasp the essential truth of our time: "Our Diversity Is Our Strength." (Be ready for the attack by those monitoring political web sites on behalf of interested groups.)
As organized government increasingly becomes unable and/or unwilling to protect its citizens the citizens will start protecting themselves. Not pretty but inevitable.
I'm sorry, but what does your comment have to do with my post?
The white 1998 Nissan Pathfinder with a license plate 4AVN056 was found yesterday outside an apartment complex in the 300 block of Elm Avenue in Long Beach. There is evidence within the vehicle. Videotape showed bullet holes to the windows.
Both officers are said to be "critical but stable." More on that in a minute. The suspect is still at large, and the same description is still being issued.
The suspect also shot at two other officers during his getaway, but they were not injured as they remained in their vehicle.
Now, from press sources, the rookie officer was shot several times in the throat. The veteran officer was shot in the head, and fragments of bone and glass were found in his brain. Other details of what these officers have gone through and are going through can be found in this link: Officers' condition unchanged; suspect's vehicle located
Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call (562) 435-6711.
I am angry about this, and I am sick of hearing of police being shot every week around here. And, I don't care who is reading this that doesn't like it, but my opinion is they're looking for a Hispanic guy. They threw in the Filipino thing because maybe he looks a little Asian or to make the description a little more PC.
There are over 300 Mexicans who have killed police officers in California and fled to Mexico, where that country refuses to extradite them. This (expletive) has got to stop.
I just hate thinking what these officers and their families are going through right now. I hope they get the perp and do a Rodney King on him... to the finish. Enough!!
Oh Dear Lord...I didn't know the extent of their injuries. Please God, let them be OK. And PLEASE find these people who shot them.
Dita...I know what you mean, I feel it too. You're NOT alone...
Let's keep it down. This ain't Stormfront.
I hear you, Dita. Two murders in our town this year, both illegals... we have a population of 50,000.
Thanks, BG. I'm going to stay on this story the best I can. So much happens that we don't follow through on.
The rookie policeman was just 3 weeks out of academy. My prayers ...

No, this isn't Stormfront at all, Evening Star. I wouldn't be here if it were. But we have got trouble here in the southland and very high Latino crime statistics. Something is up, and it's not good. Do you have any thoughts about two policemen being shot?
Yes, I did see that Carolyn. I think they arrested at least one suspect, a 17-year-old.
I'm not clear on whether Oceanside is a sanctuary city or not so I'm pinging some people down that way who might know.
I read the other "suspect" is in custody -- age 16. Interesting blog comments to the articles on this shooting and it's so sad, this kid was 25 years old and from Oceanside, just wanted to make a difference.
There are a LOT of comments on that article and I just read some of them. It's a horrible tragedy for the fallen officer, his family, his friends... I think the perps are learning how to shoot around the vest.
Last June, an LAPD officer was shot in the line of duty. The bullet went in just at the edge of her vest, at the armhole and ricocheted off her spine. She survived but is paraplegic. Her daughter, her first child, was 15 months old at the time (now 21 months) and her husband is LAPD too.
The latest report is that police detectives are working on some "substantial leads." Let's pray this is resolved soon.
Hi Ladita, parts of S.D. are sanctuary, not sure about the Oceanside area.
They have both Mexican & Samoan gangs there.
Three yrs ago an illegal killed a police officer in Oceanside, shot him 15 tims.
