British intelligence and law enforcement officials have passed on a grim assessment to their U.S. counterparts, "It will be a miracle if there isn't a terror attack over the holidays in London," a senior American law enforcement official tells ABCNews.com.

"It is not a matter of if there will be an attack, but how bad the attack will be," an intelligence official told ABCNews.com.

Authorities say they are seeking at least 18 suspected suicide bombers.

I am surprised the warning is only for London and Britian. I don't have any knowledge of, nor have I heard any rumblings of such, but I would think we are another day closer to an attack on our own nation, as well.

I think this is probably CYA in case there is an attack, and I doubt that it affects or gives away any ongoing investigation.

That said, I'm puzzled by the fact that the Muzzies seem to keep focusing on England. They're taking over there anyway numerically and through PC policies, and I don't see why they feel the need to attack the population.
