Of course. The fairer shade is always the offender. The darker shade always the victim. Wonder if Hussein Obama beat up a true black man if he would be committing a hate crime.

According to the Media, Judges, Lawyers, Govt. "Hate Murder" is worse (News worthy) as compared to just regular "Murder".
It's especailly worthy if the "Hate Crime" is committed by "Whites" against Govt, reconized minorities, so this story is a surprise because its one "Minority" killing another "Minority", so is this still a "Hate Crime/Murder" or just a regular "Murder"?

Teens told Cheryl's family the gunman was young, possibly Cheryl's age, and he appeared scared as he pulled the trigger.Sounds like a gang initiation ritual. Prayers for the family.

It appears that in LA, you have to be very careful about crossing "the line" into some other culture's turf.
I noticed that the victim was "on the black side of the line" and so the shooter apparently violated "gang ethics". What a strange world we live in.
