I read between the words. As a civilian, do you know if there is anything we at home can do? Since we weren't there would it do any good to write to the USO, which I will do regardless.

Thanks TAS! Once I calm down and can form a complete sentence I plan to write Oreilley too and thank him for coming and let him know aqbout someone who followed him here. (He likes Al so much anyway he'd enjoy an update I feel sure)
I also want to see if MAJ Patience will write something up to pass to the USO as well. Unbelievable. He came here to undermine our morale?!
To: SevenofNine; Allegra
I know but I missed them. While they were here, I was in the IZ with Allegra. Well, not the whole time. Wait! The 8th was their show, so that day...yep!

Thanks Ma. Um, I melted the varnish on the smoking gazebo while I was out there with the words I was sayin'.
Still no soap? I mean, *you* didn't actually hear me say them...
Thanks for the hug too.
To: Kathy in Alaska
Aw, aw...

Have to get first hand report...anything else is hersay.
Attack it laterally and horizontally.
Go up the chain of command and then the on the ground support at your location.
If you had a personal connection to O'Riley you might have an in with him but I find him soft on the "stars" of the left.
You might get better traction with someone like Rush..He is pro Military to the bone.

Oh I know. I have to convince MAJ P. this is important enough to make a formal complaint.
I also have to get permission to quote him to anyone I email (Rush is probably better, you're right).
And will begin with the local USO rep here.
To: MozartLover; Mrs.Nooseman
I didn't see his show so can't say what he said during his routine, but if it was along the lines of what he conveyed in the DFAC I would like to think he got booed off stage.
Come to think of it, maybe he had a lousy turnout and that's why he was already feeling ornery. One can hope...LOL
To: Kathy in Alaska
LOL.
We made the dough for to kind of cookies that we will bake tomorrow.
Other then that we deep cleaned the house to get ready for Christmas.
Making Hamburger Helper Lasagna as we speak.
How was your day?

You know it crosses my mind what a coward Franken is. He knows full well that that the soldier involved cannot confront or rebuke the man & his stale rhetorical propaganda.
Another prime example of the falacy "we support the troops but not the mission."
It's beyond all reasoning why Franken's visit would be sponsered by the USO knowing full well his objectives.
Someone should be held accountable.
To: Mrs.Nooseman
Can I come for dinner? My day is very long, I don't feel so hot, it will continue for several more hours, but it isn't too bad.

P.S......Sean Hannity is quite confrontational & would probably love to sink his teeth into such a story.

Good luck...
If Maj. P is as angry as you are it should be an easy sale.

Nothing you can take to calm the system down Ma? Pretty rotten to feel like yuck AND be at work.
Hope you're over it soon at least.
To: AZamericonnie
Good point. Sean might like to remind folks of this come election time too should the Frankenberry run for office.
