Remember back when Rick Warren was adamantly denying that his inviting Barack Obama to his HIV conference had anything to do with politics?

Well - if that's the case - why is it that he's now TALKING POLITICS on CNN and sending the message that "Obama's Da Man"?

It's the LOVE of money that's the root of all evil.

Like the love of fame and celebrity, Warren & Obama are in theat camp.

He doesn't have to be. A person in his position calling himself a Christian merely needs to lead the flock astray, which he is and has done. He is in a position of authority and too many blindly follow what he says.

Is Warren so full of himself that he's trying to influence who will be the two candidates for president?

That way he will have access to either man when they win and he will be the most famous "God Man" in the world. This is what he wants, he's an arrogant narcissist with a superiority complex.

I know Billy Graham is a man of God and he does not take sides in politics.

In 2005, Billy Graham admitted on national television to being a lifelong Democrat in the media hype leading up to his final Crusade. The words he uttered to/about the Clintons during that Crusade fell right in line with his political affiliations. And it wasn't the first time Graham praised Clinton, either.

You almost have it.

Mad Howie and Jim Wallis have done exactly what they said they would do, recruit Evangelicals, in ths case, Warren. I suspect ther agreement looks something like this:

Warren:
Will not endorse a Demo candidate directly.

Will not endorse abortion.

But........

Will spend considerable time as asked with the Demo candidates, as a spiritual advisor and confidant. Or at least appear to be in that role.

Will speak favorably of Demo candidates when asked, and will do so for Repubs when asked.

Will cooperate with dog and pony shows in which the Demoo frontrunner (now Obama) appears with Repubs who do not have a chance in H!ll (Brownback).

In return, Ricky Warren will be actively promoted as the President's pastor. In otherwords, the new Billy Graham.

His aim is to move Evangelicals to the left side of the political equation, or at least enough to remove the advantage the Repubs have in this area.

I think Ricky has sold out to a very high bidder.

It is apparent that Rick Warren lacks discernment ... to aid a politican who supports partial birth slaughter of alive unborn children is a major failing, if the Pastor is in fact a Christian, not christian. I realize that we were warned some Pastors would have failings (that's why the attributes a Bishop/Pastor were stated in the NT), but in this age of blindness it is a deadly problem for such a prominent Pastor to lack discernment and side with the devil's servants in order to get some advantage on an issue. I thinks it's know as 'selling out' for worldly gain. Warren wants too desperately to remain sugar, when He calls believers to be salt, not sugar. Oh how I've wished I could have minutes to talk to such Pastors. But really, they no longer have ears to hear ... Rick's downfall will lead so very many astray when it comes, just as Ted Haggard's is doing.

Per Dick Morris on Hannity's Show this PM Mr. Obama has:

NO, EXPERIENCE @ ANY LEVEL HE HAS SERVED AT.

HE SPEAKS WELL & WROTE A BOOK END OF STORY!

BUT, HE GUARANTEES HILLARY THE DEM. NOMINATION!

This election cycle the media tried to make a self-fulfilling prophecy of evangelicals abandoning the republicans and to a degree, they succeeded.

We can say all we want about the internet and talk-radio, the media, movies, sitcoms, music are still the most powerful politcal voices, it's an echo chamber where you hear the same stuff preached over and over, and if you're not too involved in politics, you just vote democrat, because that's the party of the "cool" people.

I caught some of Dick subbing for Neal Boortz today. I am slowly changing my opinion of Dick Morris ... he is sharing things that only he has the knowledge of if not in the clintons' camp and building an Arkincide moment for himself should Hatellary see him as an obstacle to her ascension to empress.
