Is there a list of newspapers, magazines, media sources that we are only allowed to excerpt, or link to? Couldn't find a list on the home page. Is one available?
Thanks.

And, for some odd reason, we are only allowed to post every third word from President Abraham Lincoln...

Post articles from television station's websites. You can post the entire article. That's what I do and the news is much more updated and comprehensive. Screw the newspapers.

Please have pity on those of us trapped in 56K dialup HELL and post the entire article if its not on that list.
And if you must excerpt, please do us a tremendous favor and link to the printer friendly version of the article.
Thanks!!

I don't think you should ever post an entire article from anywhere, except a liberal website that you don't want to give attention to. FR-FRiendly sites should have their hit counts upped in support.

Post articles from television station's websites. You can post the entire article. Good idea.
If I come across an interesting article in a publication I know must be excerpted and the article is from a news service, I cut out several words, paste them into the search at Google News, and then try and find a source in the list returned by the search that does not need to be excerpted.
China View (Xinhua) is good for this.

Six years at FR and you post a vanity to ask this? You need more sleep or something.

Bear in mind that there are sites, such as CommonDreams.org, that we are not allowed to use that aren't on the list. Don't know why.

Excellent idea. And if we all had high speed access I'd agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, we don't.
