BAGHDAD, Iraq: U.S. Sen. John Kerry said Saturday his visit with American and British troops had helped in "crystallizing" his views about the situation in Iraq and he was looking forward to hearing Iraqi ideas about political steps to restore stability here.
Kerry, the Democratic nominee for president in 2004 and possibly a future contender, conferred Saturday with U.S. and British officers in the southern city of Basra and with American troops in Diyala province during a nine-day Middle East tour. "Today was very informative and very helpful in crystallizing some of my thoughts insofar as what we can negotiate ... and what needs to be accomplished," Kerry told The Associated Press by telephone.

That idiot needed to go to learn what's obvious to every one else. I hope John F*ckin' relocates to Vietnam - permanently.

John Kerry "conferred" with US troops? Were there any photographs of this historic event, when for the first time in his life Kerry listened to what anyone else was saying? Were the soldiers giving him the finger, as their part of conferring with Kerry?
He was a snobbish social climber when I first met him at age 19, and other than more wrinkles and more money, is much the same today.

What a complete idiot. The voting people of Mass. should be ashamed of themselves.

"A Gold Star Mother is urging American troops to snub Sen. John Kerry during his visit to Iraq. Im asking our men and women in Iraq to not allow themselves to be forced to pose with Kerry during his photo ops, said Debra Bastian, who lost her son in Iraq in 2005. This man is a disgrace. He should be shunned by those serving in Iraq. He is not their friend. They [the soldiers] should NOT BE FORCED to pose for pictures with Kerry the way they did when Sen. Hillary Clinton visited Iraq, she said."
This woman is right on point and has had a son killed.

What do you want to bet that the "troops" will be hand picked by Kerry staffers.
Kerry dare not take the chance to walk into a random crowd of soldiers like these guys.
