Prayers for President Ford. Our oldest ex-President ever, IIRC.

Prayers for President Ford, I did a project on him for my Michigan history class, what an intresting common man. I wish I had the chance to meet him. His museum in Grand Rapids MI, was a really neat place to visit, I hope to go back there sometime.

I was way too young to vote in '76, but the gaffe about Poland probably cost him the election against Jimmuh...
I won't deny he was a Rockefeller Republican, but he is a good man, and served honorably. God Bless You, Gerry...

Not exactly. Actually, yes, exactly.
He was a baby when he moved here. He grew up here, and Grand Rapids has always been his home town. He selected it for his presidential museum, which is in the heart of downtown.
Grand Rapids is proud to have him.

I know you know those pictures are of a movie set. Why do you keep referring to them?

In retrospect, a Rockefeller Republican would have been a monumnetal blessing compared to what we got in the dangerous leftist Carter, wouldn't he?
I wonder now how history would have changed if we had had patriot and good man Ford as President from 76-80......
btw, are there any updates on President Ford's health?

.
Thank you, stormer, for asking about the pictures of a vietnamese Re-Education Camp.
I keep referring to "The JOURNAL of the FALL" Motion Picture pictures of a vietnamese Re-Education Camp here on
http://www.Freerepublic.com
..because many who WERE actually imprisoned THERE for up to 15 years after the Fall of Saigon by Communist terrorists, and are now Free in America, tell me they are completely ACCURATE ..with tears in their eyes.
Right down to their long deep scars they have also shown me where their Communist prison guards cut open their stomachs with a knife all the way down to their navels, both men and women..!!!
Long, deep scars that I have had my own fingers placed in and through, ...just for the CLARITY of it.
So it's ALL TRUE, my friend. ALL OF IT.
The Question now is, in this new time of war with our own Freedom directly at stake right here at home, ...
Iraq falls = 12 million suddenly missing Iraqi purple voting fingers..?
And this time
...WE would have done it to them..?

Remember Chevy Chase mocking him every week on Saturday Night Live? Playing the klutz, always falling down, crashing on the floor? I heard poor Chevy has chronic back and neck pain from all the hilarious stunts portraying President Ford. Such a shame. I hope Chevy winces with "pleasure" watching the reruns. ;) HA HA!
Hey Chevy, do an encore!!!
