Great now they can get .00000002% of the vote in 2008.

Enjoy your journey into the depths of irrelevancy, Bob.

This is the same Bob Barr that campaigned to outlaw medicinal marijuana...in OTHER states? Sure, he'll fit right in (roll eyes).

He may be one of the least charismatic politicians I've ever seen (I'm from GA). But he's also one of the most principled. He's taken some stances that ran afoul of the standard Republican Party line.

Barr is a flake. I too remember him from his Georgia days. Like most Liberaltarians his position on the war against Islamo Fascism is the same as Howard Dean.

That .00000002% would have helped in Nov.

When did Barr turn into such a loser?

Hope he's enjoying life.
I hope all the old Impeachment Managers are- they deserve it.

Are you sure that WE aren't the losers? Here we sit, actually considering a sorry bunch of RINOs as our candidates, if we win, we lose, on principle.

I second that. Makes me wonder where the Republican Party is when sticking to the principles of lower taxes, smaller government and individual freedom makes you a "loser."

That's just the GOP showing off the rhetoric that cost it the majority.

Hey, as loathsome of the skunks in the liberal-tarian party are, this is actually a step up for Barr. He was/is on the board of the aclu. I once asked him about his wanting to change the Patriot Act. "Bob, how will you know when you have cut too much from the Patriot Act? I mean if there are only a few car bombings or a small dirty bomb attack, would that tell you you had cut too far? In other words Bob, how much terrorism is acceptable to you so you can get YOUR way with the Patriot Act?" He stuttered and stammered, but couldn't answer.

This is the same Barr who made it impossible for a marijuana initiative to even be voted on in Washington DC by keeping it off the ballot. A libertarian he ain't.

What are you talking about?

I really don't think RINO's are going to have a chance next election, especially McPainintheass.

Over the years I've noticed Barr begun losing his marble and with this it's confirmed!

Given a choice between McCain and Giuliani, and from what I'm starting to see, Romney, they are all equally NOT Republicans.

I was only thinking that I know many Libertarians that once thought Congressman Barr was the Antichrist.   I wonder how this will sit with them?   I would think that he would have to have reversed his position on this at the very least to be accepted by freethinking individuals.

Also with all those states mentioned Georgia is the largest and arguably the most pivotal. I smell an LP Presidential bid.

Like putting our Congressman in prison with an entrapment sting?    lol
