that'll rule out primers too won't it?
only if the hunter is using ball ammo.
hunting projectiles are supposed to expand and
remain in the victim.
Delve a yard deeper...
Bio-degradable ammo to the extent of passing through a bird's gut or quickly dissolving from exposure to the elements means that murder will be harder to solve.
How can our CSI heroes bring closure to victims' families when the bullets used to murder are no longer evidence? I think this whole episode is a conception process of a future American "cheka, NKVD, KGB" monster in the making. Even the Nazis could figure out who the monsters were of Katyn forrest. Future regimes won't even be able to hide their wicked deeds in the depths of the sea.
Frangible bullets could be an option, though they would ruin a lot of meat. But as you point out, they're impossible to trace. They go *POOF!* when they hit and leave nothing but a little sandpile. Let's see ol' Gil make heads or tails of that!
Buy a thousand rounds for every gun you own. I personaly have 800...
they can come and confiscate them one at a time.
"I don't believe a word about the damn Condors, and even if it was true they are less important than access to ammunition."
Exactamundo!

This has gone past ridiculous. Liberals have the courts to be our dictators in this country.
They're trying to stop a BADLY needed road in the D.C. suburbs, in the plans for 45 years, with "environmental" lawsuits.
Someone needs to teach these birds a thing or two. Fish can't fly, birds can't breath under water. They deserve their fate.
The Feds would be forced to ban all lead bullets if the Rats get their way. All they need to say is that it will penetrate body armor. (This would end almost all ammo except mussleloaders)
Not only do they want to ban all ammo, they want to ban all firearms and any lookalikes (even from most of the military, which would be drastically downsized [80%])
I would also recommend stocking up on semi-auto weapons, as the next "Assault weapons ban" would ban all semi-autos, pump action shotguns, and handguns.
