A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

I think you mis-read that, I did at first. I believe that Nifong is claiming he did not know about the testing not in the report, not that the other DNA did not match any defendant.

Not this case, Nifong would have love an attempted bribery charge here. This case is like non other.

A report that Meehan just testified about today, saying that Nifong specifically told him HOW to write the report.
And I'd venture to say there's not a lab in the world that didn't give him the WHOLE report at that very first meeting.

I agree. At first I read it as Nifong saying he did not know the defendants did not match the DNA. But what he is saying is he didnot know about the tests not mentioned in the report. He is of course lying as usual.

There would be no need for Nifong to tell him anything except that he knew about the other DNA concoction.
Always drove me crazy that Nifong personally went to the lab to pick everything up. What's the "chain of custody"? IF Nifong was actually handling the samples, then there is the possibility that HIS DNA or one of the dicks is in the mixture. Is this the big secret that Nifong has??
