A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

Nifong will not drop this case voluntarily -- he's had ample opportunity and declined. The only way this case is dismissed is if the judge dismisses the charges. At this point, Nifong has nothing to lose by going forward and everything to lose by dismissing. At trial, he presents the FA and rests, watches her and his whole case destroyed, and simply chalks it up to a bad day. Dropping hte case now, from his perspective, is an admission that he brought a garbage case. The N&O has reported that he has done that before in rape cases.
Or, she could say she doesn't want to testify because she doesn't want all the publicity about the case to taint her baby, you know, for the future. So she drops the case rather than testify against the father of her baby, whom she will claim just must be one of the accused. That's the ticket. To protect her baby's future, she won't want to put the father in jail for rape. Oh no...I can't believe I just thought of THIS.
I wonder if she even knows who the proud papa is? Except, she knows who he ISN'T....unless, she is so delusional to think one of the accused is God and she's the Virgin Mary! I'm gagging.

No legit reason, but I'll bet he was afraid she would let something slip to the parents that would damn the case, and then the parents would be in a position to be called as witnesses for the defense to impeach her credibility.

How on earth would she get pregnant from one of the players if NONE Of their DNA is anywhere near her?
