A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

I do think you are correct. Obviously, he found out about the pregnancy early on. Has not spoken to CGM, not because of his stated reason, but because he did not want to be put into the position where he would have to ask her who the father was. I think the term, "A wing and a prayer" might describe Mikey's approach to this non-case.

I can almost believe that Nifong knew this would never go to trial; that these young men would forever have a blot on their lives; and that Nifong is just fine with that. I cannot express just how much I dislike that man.

Nifong should be careful what he wishes for (DNA tests to prove paternity of one of the accused).
There was speculation about it is all I can say.
I just saw some of the video on the local channels.
Reade and Evans were in the lineup one after another; she identified both of them as having attacked her.
What are the chances of their pictures being side by side? That cannot be possible!
BTW, she said she was 90 percent positive that Reade attacked her and 70 percent sure he was at the party.
Trust me his days are numbered and they should be. He has just cost the county of Durham several millions of dollars to become elected. He needs to be disbarred.

Looks like she got her 70% and 90% in reverse order. You can't be more certain he raped you than you are that he was even at the party where it supposedly occurred. LOL
