A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

Conspiracy to obstruct justice = clearly grounds for a suit against them.
If she is due in February, I guess we know why the trial will be "in the spring."

DURHAM, N.C. Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong said Friday that the stripper accusing three Duke lacrosse players of raping her is in fact pregnant, but that she become pregnant at least two weeks after party where she says she was raped.
Nifong, who said the baby is not due until the first week of February, bluntly contradicted family members of the accusers who earlier said she had already given birth.

When I first heard the news, I realized we might have our answer about why Brian disappeared.
I just had a thought. A pregnancy would be a pretty good get out of jail free card for a false rape allegation.
I have not seen any specifics. However, I presume that the hearing will cover all of the preliminary motions, including the line-up and identification suppression motion.
I don't remember that visit except as related to banging her head on the sink.
That family knows nothing.
I want to know who her "handlers" are.
February 5th, a week for a surpression hearing.
They just said if he rules in their favor, there is no case.
Interestingly, she's due that week.
