Since the Feds won't enforce laws...I don't see a reason why counties just adopt a $5,000 fee for each illegal caught within their county. Tell the DA that he can keep 20 percent of that for his personal office costs, and you might suddenly wake up the employers...which is what all of us have hinted at for years. Let the county keep the money and roll it into schools or hospitals. Watch the Feds sweat when you start taking actions to correct their own behavior.

If you take a walk, they'll tax your feet,
If you buy a car, they'll tax the street.

How about a 50% surcharge on all money transfers to Old Meheeco?
I think that's a tax we could all agree upon.

From GreeleyTribune: 10:33 a.m. Buses and vans are leaving the Swift & Co. beef packing plant moving through a corridor of Greeley Police Department cars which are blocking a crowd of several hundred who are chanting at the vehicles leave the packing plant.

The buses and vans were leaving southbound on 8th Avenue through downtown Greeley.

Earlier, Father Bernie Schmitz of Our Lady of Peace was at the scene, reciting the Rosary with several in the crowd.

Why am I not surprised about the Hyrum, Utah plant. Utahn's love illegal aliens. Illegals have caused a major hassle out here, and it is time we shut them down.

Bounty? Anyone?

Exactly catch and release, this is probably for show. I hope I'm wrong though.

Recent From GreeleyTribune (I hope I am allowed to post this):

United States Senator Ken Salazar, D-Colo., has responded regarding reports that thousands of Swift & Co. employees have been detained on charges of identity theft and immigration law violations.

“ICE’s action at multiple Swift plants today is a clarion call for the nation to complete its work on comprehensive immigration reform. We need to have laws in place to take us from today’s chaos and lawlessness to law and order. That law and order system must include: increased border security, strict enforcement of immigration laws including a sound employer verification system, and a realistic method of dealing with the human and economic reality of millions of undocumented workers in America.

“This past year, the Senate passed bi-partisan legislation to address our broken borders. The House of Representatives had an opportunity to enact a law and order system. Unfortunately, they chose not to. The impact of their inaction is not limited to the immigrant community. Today’s action at Swift will have a strong ripple effect on the rest of the livestock industry. Weld County is the most profitable agricultural county in Colorado, with over $1 billion in agricultural sales. Today’s move by ICE will greatly impact the economy there.

“The tragedy of continual inaction towards comprehensive immigration reform has both human and economic consequences. It is what happens when we have a do-nothing Congress which refuses to act. What is happening at Swift today sends a strong signal to Congress that we must act with all due speed to enact comprehensive immigration reform. When Democrats take control in January, I hope today’s occurrences will motivate us to act.”

Papia apparently didn't mind them working on a holy day, but was offended that they were arrested on a holy day.

They'll just show up in Milan, Missouri. There must be ten thousand Mexicans there now.

The "holy day" stuff is a red herring. As a child I visited a monastery. There was a calendar on the wall that listed all the "holy days". Frankly, you can find a special name attributed to almost any day during the year. People who spend time at a church are going to be aware of what "holy day" was on the calendar that day. The people at ICE are likely completely oblivious of that detail.

Local Fox has video up. Protestors at plant. Signs: Think of the Children, Don't take my parents away at Christmas, No presents, tears at Christmas.

They are learning how to manipulate Americans. Just like the muslims holding up signs in English.

Interviewing guy now: they have taken his brother to Denver, claims he is a legal resident, here 17 years. They won't tell us anything.

News: ask him how he feels about illegals taking jobs. Starts complaining about raid before Christmas, holy day for Mexicans, takes it as an insult.

Well of course you would have to pay the taxes on the extra money you earned this year. Instead of earning and paying federal taxes on what you've made, you'd be making twice as much and of course, if the identity thief is smart, they won't be withholding much in federal taxes (like having 10 dependents). It's not a joke and it can get YOU into big trouble with the IRS because you're not paying "your" income taxes.
