This is too funny. I logged into my original Internet account, which I rarely use anymore, to clean out the spam from the email. Now, I occasionally get messages from the Young Democrats club/list/group/whatever. I don't know how I ever got on that mailing list, but I find the fact that they send it to me of all people somewhat amusing.
Well, on November 30, someone else who was pondering how she got on the list sent a reply to unsubscribe. Well, that was it. The flood gates opened. I had about 100 or more reply messages containing unsubscribe messages, threats of reporting, complaints that people are too stupid to read the directions to unsubscribe (to a list that they never subscribed to).
I only read excerpts because I wasn't reading the entire list, but it was funny.
Hello Young Dems! I am setting out this message in regards to the First Friday event. At the first meeting of the Kings County Young Dems held on Tuesday, November 21st, hosted graciously by the Independent Democrats Club, we decided that the First Friday events should not be held on Friday in order to accomodate our Orthodox Jewish members and Sabbath observers. Therefore we discussed possibly moving it to Wednesdays or Mondays from 6-9pm. We of course will keep you updated of any and all changes and if you have any feedback or suggestions please feel free to let us know.
