Hey rabid ones, how do you fight for a nomination when your OWN people in the US Senate spiked it?
Perhaps instead of posting their rabid Bush Hating hysteric day in and day out maybe the Know Nothings should try actually spending some time finding out how the US Govt works.
The ignorance and hysteria expressed here every day by the usual collection of Know Nothings is simply inexcusable. Your average US teenage knows more about the US Govt then some of these hysterics.

Wonder if the rabid Bush haters stop for even a heartbeat to consider the US Constitution PROHIBITS a Religious Test being imposed for Govt Office?
Do the rabid Bush Haters ever stop for a second and consider that the vast bulk of the people fighting and dying ON OUR SIDE in the War are Muslims?

Actually try finding out how the US Senate works rather then scream your feelings as facts.
Under the stupid US Senate Rules, as long as one Senator places a block on the nomination, the Committee cannot vote on it.
If you want to whine about Bolton, at least have the intellectual honesty to get your facts right rather they hysterically flail around looking for something to whine at President Bush about.

You rabid Bush haters should simply stop lying.
You have always hated Bush and the length of time in office has nothing to do with it. You have always hated Bush for whipping your boy Pat Buchannan's butt in 2000. So simply stop lying.

That would not be a good idea.

I don't think the fellow would have been in sensitive positions in Afghanistan and Iraq if he were untrustworthy. My questions for him are more to do with pursuit of reform of the UN; will he be as vigourous as Bolton in demanding the UN mend its ways?

You assume I am a rabid Bush hater. That has never been the case and its intellectually juvenile of you to make the assertion. Nor have I ever been, as you suggest in your subsequent post, a big Pat Buchanan fan.
Given the appeasement mode both our government and the UN have assumed it is perfectly legitimate to question appointing a Muslim to this post as the likely result will be more appeasement. Further, it will be viewed by nations such as Iran and Syria as yet another victory for Islam.
I have supported the president on a wide variety of issues, but this isn't one of them. As for Muslims fighting for our country... kudos to them. Were it the case for the wider Muslim community.
Anything else you have to say?

"Any guesses as to how long it will be before he teams with Ms. Nancy to pass the "comprehensive immigration" bill?"
That prospect scares the crap out of me and infuriates me. But you're probably right... it will happen.

Not a rabid Bush hater. Look for a reason to support him all the time. I was under the impression that Bolton had made it out of commitee. I know he had about 58 votes to confirm in the general vote.
I dont want a religious test. But I have yet to see a high ranking muslim stand by Israel 100% I dont want to take the chance he wont either.
