Live on cable now...
Actually, the Wise Men have spoken.
Unfortunately, there are few left on FR who understand the distinction and are willing to acknowledge the reality of it, even as they watch it in operation before their very eyes.
Bush needs to get on tv tonight and fight this....FIGHT THIS Mr. President....we are with you!
*sigh*
War by committee. What a wonderful idea. I wonder why this has never been tried before?
If the libs were wearing blue uniforms, and we were wearing red, we'd be in a shooting war now.
It was worse that you can ever have imagined.
Well said.
I haven't been able to read the thread either..but, I did just see the Dem Senators give a presser, where they all admitted that they haven't read the report...
They then proceeded to discuss all of the investigations into PRE-WAR intelligence and other things that the ARE going to do...
Yet, at the same time, Kennedy is on the Senate floor saying how great and important the ISG report IS, and needs to be followed.
I feel that the dems don't care about this at all...they have their agenda, and that is to impeach Pres. Bush, maybe not literally, because they can't start an impeachment..but that is what they want.
The GOP are too weakened to do anything...
The gist I got from the presser with the ISG was that THEIR main goal was to get "concensus" and "bipartisanship"...and I will say, that is NOT going to happen.
Therefore it was a waste of time and money for the whole thing.
Thank you. That's even more troubling. He knew about and still did nothing.
Exactly.
This a proxy war between Us and Iran.
Iran already won a proxy war with Israel, and are now well on their way to winning proxy war #2.
I cannot believe that you refuse to see this for what is is - yet another attempt to undermine our President and lose the war.
I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, because we're worlds apart in how we view this report.
Gawd, get a grip. History shows the dangers of appeasement of dishonest parties. The product of this study group is pure political depravity that will only encourage our opponents further - it will add to their notion (grounded in fact) that we lack the will to win a war and will eventually seek a way out, the consequences to our allies and those we have pledge to protect be damned.
"Oh FGS, we are going to have an Iraq "support group."
I recommend Oprah.
She's bearly qualified to render legal opinions.
then let's do the election all over and kick out the Demoncrats!
The people of this country, on the whole, are incapable of seeing the threat we are all facing. And they're incapable of fighting it.
What happens to America is on them, not President Bush.
There are only 18 shopping days left until Christmas.
I'm pretty close to speechless---but I'm really worried about us..our country is in big trouble.
The democrats are responsible for breaking the furniture of public support, but now, even republicans are participating.
The report is little more than a attempt to bring consensus, and should not be viewed as anything more.
over soon after the end of "major combat operations" The 'rat leaders gave the MSM tacit approval to bash Bush for everything. Neither the MSM nor the 'rats will ever acknowledge their culpability for much loss of life. Bashing Bush is more important to them. It is infuriating.
