What's the point of this picture? Is that one of Weiner's friends?

What do they really believe?

What does the Republican Party really believe?
What does the Bush administration really want?
What does the congressional leadership really think?
These are questions on the minds of Americans this week as we draw near to a mid-term congressional election that threatens to change the balance of power in Washington.
If the Republicans do lose one or both houses of Congress, it will be because Americans have lost trust in them, because Republican constituents feel like it doesn't make that much difference who is in power, because the people feel betrayed.
(Column continues below)
Why would they feel that way? Because it's true they have been betrayed by an incompetent and arrogant Republican Party leadership in the White House and Congress.
I didn't need a former Bush administration official to tell me that most White House political operatives don't really like the evangelical base that brought them to power. I've seen the evidence for myself, up close and personal.
But the more astonishing phenomenon is how current high-level officials of the Bush administration daily go out of their way to insult this critical constituency just weeks before the vote.
Here's an example: Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, someone who claims to be a Christian herself, which, by definition, means you submit to the authority of Jesus and the Bible, last week swore in to the position of AIDS coordinator an open homosexual. The position carries the rank of ambassador. The photo accompanying this column shows the smiling first lady, Laura Bush, and Mark Dybul's partner, Jason Claire, leering at him.
During her comments, Rice referred to the presence of Claire's mother and sit yourself down for this one called her Dybul's "mother-in-law."
Do you get the picture?
This comes from an administration that wants most Americans to know it has endorsed the federal marriage protection amendment. They want most Americans to know that because it is popular with a large majority of the voting block. But what do they really think?
Do they think they are going to woo homosexual voters over to their side with such acts of political pandering?
Do they think you won't notice when they play both sides against the middle?
Or do they really believe that homosexuality is "just another alternative lifestyle," as Rice suggested with her mother-in-law remark?
I also want you to notice what the two homosexual lovers are holding in that picture. It's a Bible. The new ambassador is taking an oath on it. Why? Isn't it a homophobic text? Doesn't it strongly condemn homosexual activity? Doesn't it even warn of harsh physical judgments for those who practice it?
The Bible is not ambiguous at all about homosexuality. It is condemned as an abomination in both the Old Testament and New. So what kind of hypocrisy what kind of sacrilege is being demonstrated here?
This is the face of the Republican Party establishment. It's the reason Democrats are likely to sweep into power in a few short weeks. It's an illustration of the double talk we get from the Bush administration. It's confirmation that we who actually believe in that Bible have nowhere to turn politically in this country at least in terms of voting options.
Do you believe God will honor an administration that behaves this way?
Do you believe God will continue to protect a country that flagrantly disregards His laws?
Do you believe God will be mocked like this without consequences?
Do you believe God will bless a party that acts so duplicitously?
Remember what I told you on the evening of Nov. 7.
Don't blame me for the Republican debacle to come. Blame the people who brought it to you the people in power.

If you look at Checkers post in the Freep forum you will see that he has nothing more to do than post on the Savage thread. The majority of freepers read and post on many different threads yet Checkers, who I think is a college student in a western state apparently has very little homework to keep him busy. So I guess it is our opportunity to educate Checkers in the facts of the real world and not the fantasy campus life that he is exposed to. I am realy beginning to feel sorry for Checkers that he has no life. Maybe his mommy didn't give him his Maypo for breakfast?

LOTR has nothing on Star Wars. LOTR isn't nearly as beautiful as SW. (Although I will conceded that LOTR is more Christ-centric).
BTW, he is hot, no matter what Obi-wan says. LOL!

Evening, Infidels! As far as Iraq is concerned, I agree with Savage to a point. Before we get the hell out of there, arm the Kurds to the teeth. Let them purify the country of the Sunni and Shia scum! But what Iraq really needs is a US-friendly dictator, similar to the former Shah of Iran. Sure, he was a sonofabitch. But he was OUR sonofabitch! ;-D

I'm happy that the thread is busier today than yesterday. Savage's "spiritual" side was getting a little boring.

Savage said, "That's why (MSM) is dying and I'm thriving," and expressed gratitude for the clueless MSM for keeping him employed as an alternative to their crap. I think those who predict the demise of Michael Savage will be proven wrong.

"He exposed himself as a fraud with his PMSNBC fiasco. After that, listening to him was the radio equivalent of passing a train wreck. With the Moonbeam caper, he completed exposing himself as a Howard Dean creation."
The Schumer interviews were pretty bad.

Did you actually hear the broadcast? Here we go.
This is dude's calling card.
He'll ask, "Did you you actually hear, ...."
Never will he say, "I heard him say,...."
He is a post and giggle type.
He has been .
But, he likes to post and giggle: he's the giggler.

"I sure have. Otherwise, I wouldn't have commented on it. Savage and Rangel both agree on the re-instation of the draft, but differ on the way it should be implemented."
There was no disagreement with Rangel.
Go ahead and put a link to the audio of the interview, I dare ya.
Weiner even agreed with Rangel's suggestion that President Bush wouldn't have gone to war in Iraq if there was a draft.
It wasn't an interview.
It was fellatio.
I bet Rangel had a big smile on his face.

It was fellatio. I bet Rangel had a big smile on his face. You've gotta be gay. It's the only explaination with your homo fixation.
Happy now? Go away.
