Did you see it go down? Glad to hear the pilot is okay, although ejection must be a jolt.

I hope everyone's OK.
I recall about twenty years ago when a S-3 Viking went down in a parking lot in Sorrento Valley. I was heading south on I-5, right at the 805 split, when it went overhead and down. Intense.

Any landing you walk away from is a good one.
Thank God for the pilot.

Right after we moved here about a year and a half ago, a Harrier crashed in someone's pool (among other places). It had live ammo on it. The pilot (thank God) was alright, but it made for a very nasty summer around here. Lots of hostilities.
Oh, and that pilot they are looking for in Iraq is from Luke AFB in Phoenix.

Not that I'm not glad the pilot is safe, but I thought pilots were expected to ride the bird all the way to the ground when over civilian airspace.
To: Pukin Dog
Pilot fine,
5-6 acre fire due to crashed aircraft, very windy here in Southern California today so they have to move fast.
