The spread of the culture of suicide - "martyrdom" to adherents - is the most disturbing trend in the Muslim world. Starting with Hezbollah in Lebanon in the early 1980s, it has been adopted as a legitimate weapon by both Sunnis and Shiites in numerous nations

Interestingly (it's my understanding that) suicide martyrdom was exclusively a Shia doctrine, and explicitly rejected as contrary to Islam by Sunnis for hundreds of years. Yes, even Sunnis extolled fearlessness of death in battle as a virtue, and celebrated those who displayed such and lost their life as martyrs. But there's a huge difference between being willing to die and specifically intending to do so as an essential and integral part of your attack.

What happened (I presume) is that Sunnis observing suicide attacks by Shia in Southern Lebanon decided it was a damn good way to slaughter Jews, and so effectively decided to overthrow hundreds of years of religious precedence in favor of murdering more Jews. This is a pretty strong indication of the current pathology in Islam, and how it's driven in large measure by Judenhass.

Actually, no I do not know that. That is how they are represented by the MSM. Since I have absolutely no contact with any, I cannot say they are otherwise.

What I think would be "a very beautiful thing" would be for Israelis to say that they acknowledge the threats against them as open declarations of war and then cut loose with everything they have on all those who have opined for Israel's destruction. No holding back for world opinion, just do whatever it takes. I am sick of this putrid religion, this cult of death, destruction and mayhem and it's killing of innocents and turning innocents into killers.

Hate to tell you this, but the world will never understand what you are up against, because the world is becoming infected by the same unreasonable hatred.

The world is siding with the Palestinians.

An interesting point is that the use of men as suicide bombers quit when America invaded Iraq. At that point, the suicide bomber rate trailed off to almost nothing. And also at that point the use of women and children began.

That is simply because all the Palestinian men are on the way to Iraq, and the women and children cannot travel under the rules of Islam.

You want to know who is blowing up our troops in Iraq? The answer is obvious really.

A Modest Proposal:
Perhaps a reinforced concrete Jihadist theme amusement park with bus rides, pizza stands, and dummy Israeli soldiers standing around might actually provide a positive outlet for the murderous nihilistic insanity the Palestinians are indoctrinating and brainwashing their own children with.

After all the children have had their fun day of martyrdom at Paliland, they will be gone... blown into particles of flesh , bone and pulverized organs, and no longer a threat to anyone, solving the problem.

Their proud parents can look at old photos of their children as they contemplate the lunacy of the self-extinction of their people.

Historians can write monographs describing how the theme park offered a solution to the madness that led to its institution. And we will all be the better for it. Just a modest proposal.

Not one that is publicly confirm-able. It comes from a friend who is stationed in Baghdad. And remember there is a difference between suicide bombers and roadside bombs, especially in Iraq. And as far as the videos are concerned, there is no way to confirm their reliability or the conditions under which they were produced.

There is no question that some of those people are willing suicide bombers. But if there were limitless numbers of them, isn't it reasonable to believe we would be seeing them on every street corner every day. Would you be inclined to believe there are more true suicide bombers or would you find it more credible to believe that many or most in the suicide group are actually hostage situations. Self-preservation is traditionally a much stronger instinct than self-immolaton/sacrifice.

You are confusing Iraq with Israel.

It is certainly possible that there is distinct difference between Iraq and Israel in the pattern of true suicide bombers versus those that are victims of family hostage situations. The yellow-dog journalists in our media are NOT unbiased and should more correctly be termed propaganda merchants or even pushers instead of journalists, as in Pulitzer Propaganda Pusher Prize. My source in Baghdad is reliable and is firm in the stated position. Given the journalistic dishonesty of our media, how can anybody be sure that a substantial fraction of suicide bombers in Israel are not really hostage threats? Remember the days of mob extortion in the US of shop keepers in selected cities across the US. Hell, look at Union dues vs right to work states. Look at building codes and permitting activities in NYC and most other cities now in the US. Government sanctioned and sponsored extortion has become the way of life. Social-nazis and sand-nazis are still cut from the same cloth, and the yellow-dog media are willingly a part of it.
