Sheesh Chris, do you have to re-hash Trent's comments at Thurman's birthday several years ago??
Trent says he's been in a "liberated mode!" Rush will pick up on this Monday.

As someone looking in from afar I surmise he does not have the charisma to appeal to the section of the community that wins in particular Presidential elections the moderates and swing voters. Maybe I am wrong I hope so but I have doubts.

I'll second that but I would also include the parents in the punishment as well or what probably passes as parents.

Yesterday I had a very serious discussion with one of my sisters
I very calmly explained to her the past news that no one knows about or not paying attention to and then discussed the future we are about to face and how this is 1938 all over again with the media acting like it's Vietnam
After I finished piecing it all together for her and what we are ALL facing with a dem control congress .. she had a look on her face of ... oh crap

Meanwhile on C-spam a lady named Rend Al-Rahim from the Iraq Foundation is making all too much common sense in talking about Iraq. I'm surprised she is getting so much air time. Brian Lamb must have really screwed up.

TRY THINKING ABOUT THATOver on Hugh Hewitts site, and others recently who picked up the nugget that:
Virtually NONE of our congressional leaders have read any books on Iraq/ME.
Virtually NONE no the difference between Sunni and Shia.
Virtually ALL get their information from the newspapers and TV(WaPo, NYT ?)
Is it any wonder ?

You're right, snugs... The GOP brought up Rangel's draft bill and it was shot down something like 420-2. Even Charlie voted against it. ;)
To: Mo1
Same old Chester. Twice he mentioned raising the minimum wage. Worse yet, he pointed out how the RATS blocked everything by requiring 60 votes. No saying how it was unconstitutional and should have nuked out of existence. No pledge to do similar. Just the usual Stupid Party surrender that they'll play nice with the RATS.

I agree, we have let FNC know how we feel, I am reluctant to dump them until they really screw up, there is always the chance they will see the light.

A thought here and I know a lot of Americans and particular conservative Americans are not going to like this.
We have to do what we have to do to get elected in the area and climate (not intended as a pun but it works) we are in.
In my country we have now a moderate environmentalist leader of the Conservative party, he however IMHO is listening to the MSM and general public in the UK. He is appealing to the moderates and swing voters which he will need to get elected. If however you look at various members of his Shadow Cabinet there are more than one or two that are not moderate which leads one to think that actual policies when elected the Conservatives may not be as moderate as David Cameron is eluding.
Maybe each area each situation needs to be looked at separately and candidates in each one need to adapt their policies etc to ensure that a Republican albeit a moderate one is elected.
Would you not have taken 5 or 6 more moderates and retained the House. There are bigger issues here than individual pet one (not having a go at you but generalizing).
