Yes we failed. But with the DBM doing the heavy lifting for the DNC, we were like the Texans agains Santa Ana at Goliad.

Which muzzies hands can we shake? Who do we negotiate with?
This sums up the matter nicely. We have seen for decades, and will continue to see, the terrorist effort ramp up until control is taken from them in their Middle Eastern strongholds. The Islamo-facisti are now in control of the situation, and only war, hyper-war, will solve the problem. It will be awhile until the terrorists finally convince us, speaking of the free world as a whole, that the societal underpinning of their madness must be shaken to its roots or possibly eliminated.
Yes, Bahbah, it is a case of the same old things being said; but only the terrorists are capable of changing this- and they will. I was impressed with Gen. Downing's comments on MTP.

I fear Steyn is right. No doubt in fact, unless demographic trends change. Ralph Peters isn't as pessimistic. Powerline has highlights of both at the top right now. Interesting a deathly important.

The MSM is still powerful and still needs to be taken notice of and used to our advantage. Hearing the MSM is sort of like hearing a violent argument in a neighboring apartment.
Your first instinct is to want to block out the noise.
But it's good that you can't avoid hearing it, because you need to notify the appropriate people that something bad is happening.

If you can, watch FNC this afternoon. Notice how Franks, Dingle and Sharpton stick together and deflect the questions they get from Wallace. They can distort and lie but it just keeps going and going like the Energizer bunny. Following that notice how Trent Lott is still apologizing and making nice to the Democrats. The difference between the two is a good example of many GOP problems today.
To: snugs
Those that complain about FNC all I can say is if you compare what the UK have as their Cable News Channel offering from News International Sky News you would never complain about FNC again. Don't necessarily disagree witcha snugs, but it's kinda like asking me if I had a choice between being tortured by listening all day to CNN or FOX, which would I choose? Obviously, my choice would be FAUX Nooze.
But, since I choose not to be tortured at all, and since FAUX has decided to become CNN Lite, my TV stays off except for sports and..........

I am not asking you to but just pointing out it is a lot better than you could be getting so don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Also remember they are trying to appeal to the masses and from what I understand most news-outlets base the IQ level of the news broadcasts of that of the average 16 year old at least they do in Britain I was told this by someone who was involved in the media in the UK.
