Asheville is situated in one of the most beautiful areas you'll ever see. But the city itself (which is also a really stunning place, naturally and architecturally) has turned into a blight on North Carolina. It makes Chapel Hill look well-balanced. The city has completely been taken over by the hippies, eco-freaks, homos, and various other maladjusted liberal types drawn to the mountains for their beauty.

My wife has relatives (wealthy limo liberals) in Asheville and trust me, this is a true assessment. Asheville is the Granola bar of the South--fruits, nuts, and flakes everywhere.

I don't think anybody is really surprised by the fact that a democrat child rapist is let off the hook by other democrats and supported and praised by even more democrats.

Why don't we all just be honest and come out and say it- the people who find a home in the democrat party and those who lead the democrat party are not offended by or really repulsed by this type of behavior.

Expect to see more extremely lenient sentences for these monsters from democrat judges, and eventually those democrat judges openly dismissing charges against them altogether.

"Gay" publications and websites always publish lists of communities that they are taking over and encourage others to join them. They publish lists and rankings.

One thing that perhaps explains "Were are the pastors" is the fact that Asheville has completely went over the hill into liberalism.

the newspapers, the local TV affiliate, the local talk jock (Matt Matan 570 am wwnc) have all embraced this.

The local DA Ron Moore was just re elected, so he will face no repercussions for this plea deal, judges run on "non partisan" tickets and almost never lose there seats.

The only voice of sanity we have is Ken Bagwell's show and a local conservative paper.

The woman who is mentioned as running the local public access channel was blatantly pro Shuler on the 7th.

so even if a pastor wanted to make an impact, it would go nowhere.

Last February I went to the Army Reserve Center outside Asheville on a support visit. Could not believe downtown: it was Haight-Ashbury circa 1967, with many of the original participants (I'm 58 myself). Never thought Kooksville would come to the South.

Not to be nitpicky, but does the sentence in red mean the "develop" in this phrase?

Nothing in the language of the story indicates that he had live victims - no families mentioned, no children mentioned as victims. (And I don't mean being identified by name or anything.) Somehow, I get the impression that he took the "original" work of others and copied it and shared it.
