Reminds me of the time in my High School Chemistry class.
Had taken apart a 22 cartridge (removed the powder and bullet) and brought the shell casing to school.
For whatever stupid reason, I decided to hold it over the flame of a Bunsen burner. About 10 seconds later -- BOOM!
The class went completely quiet. Could hear a pin drop. The teacher, with a smile, walked over to me and asked me if everything was okay. I told him everything was okay. He didn't ask any more questions and proceed with what he was doing.

I realize this is none of my business, but I don't understand why posters can't simply write the make and model of the firearms on this site. Someone will post, "Hey, I bought this great firearm yesterday" and then I think they wait for someone to ask just what they bought. Sort of like the posters who go through the trouble to post a picture and then can't take a couple of seconds to identify it.
So I guess I have to ask. What model and just what kind of competition are you doing with a Ruger? Do you have a picture?

I get the idea that they don't want the kids to bring guns and ammunition to school because of the various school shootings, okay, but the pantywaist reaction to things like this is Kafkaesque.
So the kid forgot to take two .22LR rounds out of his pocket, big deal. Send him home with a note to remind him and his dad of the school's policy and be done with it. Zero tolerance is for zero intellect.

The student may have learned his lesson-----that being, in the future to keep his mouth shut and never admit to anything.

I shot with my father every weekend when I was growing up.
We shot hand guns, rifles and shotguns (different guns on different weekends).
We shot bench-rest match's all the time.
By the time I was 14 I had a whole slew of trophy's for shooting my Remington 788 in .308 in the 'hunter class' of bench-rest shooting.
I was always taught weapon(s) safety and range safety. I never had an unsafe incident.
My 2 brothers are the same.
One night when I was 17 and my father was out of town I heard something outside. I could see something going on with my neighbors truck. I got dressed and took my fully loaded Ruger Blackhawk (in .41mag) with me. When I approached my neighbors truck, I could see his tools (he was a carpenter) on the ground around the truck and 2 legs hanging out the door. I cocked the Blackhawk and said 'put your hands up'. He did.
Then I marched him up to my neighbors door and made him knock. This fellow went to jail that night for burglary. I was a neighborhood hero!
Yes, it's so obvious that guns are evil.

At the risk of being villified I will state my firm belief the situation is because more women are in positions of authority.
Women tend to be more socialistic and less phyically active.
The women teachers of my youth were more likely to punish both parties for fighting rather than attempt to determine who was the aggressor.
Read the Democrats' book "Why Mommy is a Democrat",and be afraid, very afraid.

They were undoubtedly cartridges, not bullets.

(the cartridge above is a centerfire 9mm JHP - same principle)

Hey, new way to get out of taking a test!... Just drop a bullet in the hall next to the principal's office. The goofy libs will do the rest. Cheap, too.

It's not just Massachusetts, unfortunately. Last year my grandson forgot to remove his small Swiss Army knife from his pocket before school. A teacher spotted the outline, and we went through a six month ordeal, including felony charges. It all worked out, in the end, but the entire episode was beyond ridiculous.
When you live out in the boonies, as we do, you don't go out the door without your pocket knife, not as a weapon, but as something you will need and use.

And this is from a state that once made it a crime NOT to be armed while traveling, and required people to bring their guns to church.

No, there is still a danger from bullets. Improvise a slingshot with a pencil and elastic and launch those sobs. lol.

My guess: Polish. It looks like some sort of slavic name. Remember Zbigniew Brzynski? Carter's NSA.
