I saw it too--I was coming home from my post office job
about 2:45 am --was on Rt 128 north just between Rt 114
and Endicott St. Saw the flames and heard an explosion
that sounded like a huge firecracker.

I kept going on Rt 128 until I got to Rt 62 and then got home
here in Beverly. (Could see some flames in distance
nr. Danversport Yacht Club) I did go near the Beverly-Salem bridge but saw nothing--some police cars were "getting active". Not
one of the gas tanks?
