Mothers Danielle Shield (L) and Alison Yaker (R) read a book about breastfeeding with their children near the Delta Airlines counter at Logan Airport in Boston, Massachusetts November 21, 2006 as part of a national 'Nurse-In' protest in support of women's right to breastfeed in public. On October 13, 2006 Emily Gillette was removed from a Delta/Freedom Air flight out of Burlington, Vermont after she refused to cover her baby with a blanket while breastfeeding on the plane before take-off. She was clearly not being discreet. Also, if I put my girlfriend's head in my crotch on a plane and "no other passengers complain" does that make it alright? Hmmm???You are an idiot and a pig... (not you elc)

In a country where we show the most disgusting and bloodiest movies to our young public, where we show people in war dying, dead and mutilated, where people are not upset at pictures of our flag being burned it's hard to believe that people are so upset by the natural act of a woman breastfeeding her child. On those rare occasions when I have observed women breastfeeding their babies in public I found I was neither excited nor disgusted. Something I find personally more disgusting than women breastfeeding is the verbal garbage that comes out of people's mouths today in public.Hurrah!!!

I'm glad she got her rude a$$ booted off that plane. I just feel sorry for the kid. Having to be raised by someone that disrespectful. I hope the kid doesn't come out like that beyotch.

What a friggin' idiot. That's your response? That I can "come back" when I "get out of high school?"
That's just brilliant. How's about you and the tit-flasher get out of adolescence and not desire to hold a major corporation hostage because you tell a flight attendant to piss off? How about that huh?
To: austinaero
Just curious, have you ever used a breast pump? Not as easy as it sounds.

My kids sweated like pigs, while nursing, and didn't like blankets over their faces.

"Go clean the spittle off your screen"
Brilliant response. It managed to avoid every detail of this debate altogether.
For anyone who cares: we have a major American airline already in financial trouble bending over to the legal Ream-O-Matic because some spoiled brat thinks her breast (READ: OVER COM PEN SATING) should dicatate what happens on a jumbo jet and to hell with everything else.
Delta and many corporations much larger than them have no balls on this issue. This is probably do judges with an outright agenda and no respect fot the letter of the law. But that's just my opinion.

Brilliant response. It managed to avoid every detail of this debate altogether. Why would I want to debate with someone who apparently has some sort of psychosis about breasts?
