Gee, now that Delta has gone after motherhood, maybe they should ban apple pie from their planes, too.
I just have to shake my head. Of course, it's not for the kids at that point but for something lacking (or lactating) in the mom.

I'm all for equal opportunity. If they're going to show one, they have to show them both. Although, on most of these women, showing any is probably a bad idea. A very bad idea.
I grew up in a small rural area where mothers breastfed their children everywhere, even in church. What mothers would do during breastfeeding is for modesty purposes throw a clean diaper over her breast and the baby's face while the infant nursed. No one made a big deal out of it.

There's nothing wrong with breastfeeding, done as discretely as possible. ALSO, there are pumps and you can plan to have some milk pumped ahead on stand-by in case you get stuck in a situation. What if the mom has diabetes, or vertigo and passes out and is taken to the hospital or separated from the child? The child goes hungry indefinitely? What then? It's hard to accept that these moms don't plan ahead. I don't believe for one minute that some momma is going to whip out the breast and feed her infant in the middle of a home closing or corporate meeting. Why? Because she plans on being away and organizes the events around the feeding time, the best she can. You can plan for contingencies. Some of those kids in the picture are old enough to be drinking breast milk out of a sippy cup or bottle. I understand they were there to make a point but, it's not that effective, in my humble opinion.

Apparently natural bodily functions - any and all natural bodily functions - are to be considered beautiful, and flaunted in consequence. Perhaps, then, there's a need in this modern world of ours for the staging of a pee-in. Why hide things once considered private behind walls and barriers? Let's all be open and natural and show ourselves unvarnished and as nature made us! Indeed, it's certain that a dump-in is called for.... Restrooms, indeed - the very idea! Just set a bucket on the floor and we'll all demonstrate the functions of our human plumbing. And clothes - who needs 'em! Why the very idea... Hey, if we play our cards right, we can reverse millennia of repressive civilization, and become headhunters with bones through our noses. Why not!
If they are old enough to ask for it, they are too old for it.
