Rules for Liberal Hollywood and more, another cliches mockery. (Vanity)

1. No matter what, usually in the film the bad guy is some overwrought office CEO or some head businessman See: RV 2. Do not make documentaries on Welfare, what really happens in an abortion, or other Conservative issues. See: How Broken Promises has not gotten that much publicity. 3. The little girl, or female love interest has to be a Liberal activist, see: RV, Sky High, Stranger Than Fiction. 4. Always make films about AIDs See: Angels In America 5. The only innovation in filmmaking is through the sexual impulse See: Pink Flamingos 6. Always preach about how Environmentalism is good in every movie, including some snippets of promos like the Hybrid promo by Rob Reiner in Be Cool. 7. If you aren't bashing Enron, you aren't bashing anyone. See: Enron 8. When making a political film, always have the main character be the Democrat, and be very loving towards the Democrat. See: The American President 9. (and this I don't mind) All Southern people are stupid, but all Northern people are bright. 10. When making a Bush-bashing film, going to the extremes is needed. See: Death of a President 11. Conservative government agencies are wrong, yet Liberal government agencies are great(see no.2) See: Spartan or any other movie blasting either the CIA or FBI. 12. Whence in the past Hollywood espoused patriotism, was more of an American Dream except for joining the army, and had actors who went into film for different studies in social and character relations but offscreen might have had eccentric personalities, usually were gentle and pure ideas of Americans. Nowadays they trash the American Dream, patriotism, joining the army, and actors are known more for their eccentric drug-stenched lives. Examples: Robert Downey Jr., Hustle and Flow(even though it was a great movie), all of those Anti-War films. 13. Become what you judge, many movie reviews of Christmas with the Kranks on Rotten Tomatoes were calling the movie, "Fascistic", a review of Disclosure called the movie very bad because of its "misogynistic" overtones because the first film about sexual harrassment was about a woman blackmailing a man. Not only that but movies are great if the author thinks that one of the implied themes is about how horrible Capitalism is, one example being The Godfather. 14. Conservative speeches are not too loved. Example: If one of Bruce Willis's speeches in support of our troops was said out loud, would you remember it or Tim Robbin's Chill Factor speech, I even remember the name. 15. Believe that global warming is worse than terrorism, which allows you to be brave and a Leftist. Example: The Huffington Post 16. High-Profile films and documentaries must be Leftist. Example: Fahrenheit 9/11 is the highest grossing documentary of all time. 17. Give a movie "balance", usually, when the subject matter might be a little bit Conservative. Example: What I have heard about the Killing Fields. 18. Hitler is always important to satirize but never Josef Stalin or Mao, at least usually. Example: A recent revelation is that I think that somebody is going to make a movie about the infamous Ukrainian Famine, kudos to them. 19. Nobody in Hollywood was a Communist but Walt Disney was a Fascistic Hitler lover. 20. In fact, never show a picture of an abortion. 21. Wear the greatest dresses one day for the Oscars, proclaim your message is Social change, when most of your big-time actors are all culturally diverse but not intellectually, then leave getting out of the dresses, going to the SUV, and mansion. Also make sure to keep a relic of the 60s that nobody is trusted. 22. Try to put in a benign movie, political themes and structures. I know I've mentioned it before but RV's ending got me on my nerves, I didn't care about the schism in Stranger Than Fiction that much(and the love interest happens to not spend 22% of her taxes, but that is on Conservative things, whereas the ones she does spend aren't, yet it also belly-ups the Liberal lie that we spend more on National Security than Social Programs) and Meet The Fockers was awful. 23. Anything new, cool, or hip is Liberal. Accepted, another modern movie I saw, had Green Day with Holiday had Lewis Black do an unfunny shtick on "making the rich richer" and, if you have seen the Liberal memes of 2000 and later, might have taken a few pot shots at President Bush. Personally my answer is the Hip Kid/Dumb Adult 60s psychological theory but that is not the story. 24. Christians are usually paranoid, satanic, or evil, whereas Islamic fundamentalists are benign and safe, I saw that there is a new movie called Hate Crime all about how a Christian fundamentalist's son does all kinds of bad things. 25. Indulge yourself into Hollywood's special interests, one of the worst examples is the Laramie Project, self-indulgent filth. 26. Every comedy film must be Cheech and Chong Part III or at least have one of the actors in there. One of the blips of being uncreative, is that so many "weird" jokes in movies nowadays have to do with pot. Maybe alcohol used to be that kind of thing, but it is still unoriginal. Examples: White Castle, Grandma's Boy, Dude Where's My Car I think also has weed in it. 27. Satire, Satire, Satire, Not Another Teen Movie, Date Movie, Scary Movie. 28. Every comedy(that is my favorite genre) must be laugh-out-loud funny not somewhat subtle. Example: Grandma's Boy 29. Actors must know a word of jive or Rap lingo. Example: Bringing Down The House 30. Too many films, too little themes. If I have to hear about a boring romantic comedy where the couple break up, I will get sick. Example: That new movie that came out about "amending the man" or something where two guys say "you are the man" out loud and part of the plot might be about breaking up with a woman. I don't mind the Break-up but this sounded horrible. 31. In a film of mistaken identity there is always a falling out between characters, a sad song the character going to bars, until the need for THAT character to be redemption bound. Example: The really horrible Larry The Cable Guy: Health Inspector 32. Always you have to have a bullet struck by book joke. Example: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which had a twist where the book didn't stop the blow. 33. I wonder what Casablanca would be if it had as much cursing and the N-word as in All About The Benjamins. I guess that integrity was good back in those days. 34. Even though we love Citizen Kane, except for Rosebud there are no big picture movie quotes from there. 35. Make sure that only talented Liberal actors/actresses stay in the eye for untalented Liberal actors/actresses would be bad news. Example: How much press did Tim Robbins get ahead of Ben Affleck? That is sort of why Britney Spears was in Fahrenheit 9/11, to some untalented(also mistaken for uninformed) people lead to uninformed opinions. 36. Republican actors/actresses who actually have made it on the political forum are bad, Democrat loudmouth actors/actresses who have no political forums are good. Examples: Ben Affleck versus Arnold Schwarz. 37. You've always got to find a way to link your movie's villain or storyline to President Bush or people close to him and how he is eeeevil. See: Viggo Mortensen and Lord of the Kings, the Harry Potter III movie Director for examples. Also that Cannes Film Festival movie, Short Bus, is another example. 38. Since Half Nelson is an Art picture, we won't want you to see it now would we? 39. Growl about First Amendment rights yet compare downloading movies on the Internet to stealing cars. 40. The fact that some might not know about all of the above.

Now for an extra: Horrible film list

The Man, Larry The Cable Guy: HI, Charlie's Angels II, Old School, A Night At The Roxbury, I really, really didn't like Man Of The Year, MI II. I really didn't like The Weatherman, which was The Family Man's dark cousin wrapped in a slight hint of silver, Serendipidity.

Here is the Entertainment FReeper, Merrick, talking about the political ideas in films and more. This is all original, but I had the idea of making another list, my inner OCD coming out.

I've got a question. I tried doing a spacing thing and it looked quite normal, but since I am beginning this process, I tried reposting it, I should've previewed. Can I do a double post, and reformat it?

From a man with grammar as a weakness, this should be more readable. I am having a lot more trouble, though paragraphing on my blog. I've only written one essay that has only been read by one person, One(with apologies to Johnny Dangerously).

Yeah, I still need to learn the ropes here, some more. I wish that I placed it on another thread, I just feel like being really into Entertainment, that there is a good amount of things that have been bothering me.

I watch a lot of movies per year and I notice the same things in many modern movies. It isn't that they are totally uncreative as that they are ignorantly uncreative. I know this isn't a direct reply, but for the kindly viewer, it serves a feeling of purpose, small perhaps.

Yes I did.

I personally picked that one, because it is glaring, I take it more of a kindhearted gesture in that Larry the Cable Guy also used that cliche in his Health Inspector film.

I do like, however, that the mockery of the limousine Liberal(first seen in Citizen Kane) has been used in a few more recent films like The Aviator. Personally the limousine Liberal is the North.

I hate to be too much of a bother here, it is just that this is my only post right now.

But, that reminds me. A very good Anti-Feminist film is from 1965 and is called How To Murder Your Wife, it is a well-known film, but good sometimes if you are sick of Third Wave Feminism's attack on the housewife. I actually had to wait on a "feminist" while working at my Publix, tonight which got me angry.
