My take so far: Webb appears to be ready for prime time (whatever you think of his opinions), but Tester is not (and is not likely ever to be). Timmy is bringing up the possible feud between Gates and Webb. Webb says he'd like to hear from him and have a vote, but does not accept the invitation to go off on Gates.
I agree and SAD to say I don't watch FOX anymore or any other news outlet. Rush is the only one these days worth listening to. For the sake of my sanity and ulcers, the tube is off the majority of time. Even TMC slapped the face of many conservatives who love to watch the old flicks. Turner had the balls to spit on our faces the day after the election with a subliminal slapdown during a movie break...MY JAW FELL TO THE GROUND! There really is no place to turn anymore. The only safe havens is FR and Rush...:(
I agree I cannot understand why they do not at least have a couple of programmes for the right wing/conserative viewers (or at least similar to what they used to do) after all the rest they can have there so called "fair and balanced" format if they so wish. As you say why will the left wing migrate to FNC does not make sense.
I know I for one have pretty much dropped out. About all I watch any more is Brit. O'Reilly is all about O'Reilly. Hannity and the Commie has become a Liberal shout-fest. And so it goes.
FOX has morphed itself from something genuinely interesting and exciting into the O.J./National Enquirer/Greta channel and is almost unwatchable. When one does stumble across some news, it is almost an afterthought and often about Tom's latest pre-nupts or some missing college student or baby in Florida or Omaha or who cares where. Or maybe it's a trash fire in LA. Besides that, what news it gives seems much more Liberally unfair and unbalanced. Disgusting, actually. And then they get some smarmy Liberal on to comment about it.
Maybe Newt ought to forget politics and start a conservative cable news and discussion channel called "Newt's NEWS"? He would bury the competition, flaccid as it is. There is no competition left in the American TV Media (or any other TV media) out there. It's a wasteland out here and there are millions of pair of eyes hungry for something honest and substantial.
