Rove May Leave Within Weeks
U.S. News & World Report ^ | November 17, 2006

Posted on 11/17/2006 12:00:02 PM PST by West Coast Conservative

The rumors that chief White House political architect Karl Rove will leave sometime next year are being bolstered with new insider reports that his partisan style is a hurdle to President Bush's new push for bipartisanship. A key Bush advisor tells the US News Political Bulletin, "Karl represents the old style and he's got to go if the Democrats are going to believe Bush's talk of getting along." The advisor said a departure might come in "weeks, not months." A Rove ally, however, noted that he has a record of out-witting his critics.

Can you believe some of the incredibly ignorant statements that are made here?

I sure can. They want someone to blame. The fact that Rove managed to get GWB elected, added seats in 2002, reelected GWB in 2004 and added more seats isn't good enough.

Conservative twits abandoned the President and the Republicans, blame them for the loss, then bitch cause they aren't listened too.

Makes perfect sense to me. /s

Another Democrat scalp

Nope; but they will think that. Possum Rove may change his nesting spot; and I trust whatever changes he chooses to make.

Proof that the GOP is in complete disarray is that an opinion posted on FR that would have gotten you banned a month ago is now considered status quo.

So if we are being so bipartisan, does that mean no Harry Reid indictment? Reid practically confessed in public, what more do they need?

How very republican.

He left his job at the White House to run this year's campaign. He said that we would lose no more than 9 seats.

What gives?

Take those 9 seats and add the seats the corrupt and perceived corrupt congressmen gave up and you got it just about right!

Nope. If President Bush REALLY wants a 50-65% approval rating from the MSM, he and Cheney will resign and give us President Pelosi. That would be TRUE bipartisionship!! Anything else will be portrayed as right wing, Rovian madness.

He needs to go for blowing the election.

The people who "blew the election" (not sure how you can call LESS THAN AVERAGE six year election losses, "blowng it") are the Republicans too lazy too vote.
Not to mention the idiots who thought they would "teach the bums" a lesson. What a friggin brilliant plan THAT was.

For our health, we have to guard ourselves against:

heartburn

ulcers

high blood pressure

talking to ourselves

fingernail biting

breaking things

forgetting to breathe

I think I'mg going to spend more time looking at and growing my gratitude list as an antidote.

Rove is too good for this administration. He has been loyal and hardworking...and unappreciated.

Rove should throw in with the REAL conservatives and use his strategic mind to help elect a true conservative president in 2008.
