ON SATURDAY, IT BEGAN.
I was sitting at a table in my favorite cigar bar, drinking a Duckhorn pinot noir, and enjoying a Bolivar cigar that was part of my recent haul at Cigar Aficionado's Big Smoke evening. The house band had just started up. Life was good.
And then she walked in. The Woman with the Dirty Looks.
Apparently, she'd missed the sign outside that identified the establishment as the "Havana Cigar Company." And the walk-in humidor with its hundreds of cigars. And the counter, where cigarettes, lighters and all manner of cigar

I've only been to LV once, two years ago, but the poker rooms in both places I played (Horseshoe and Orleans) were smoke-free. In the Indian casinos here in OK, poker is smoke-free.
As if any of these people cares about anyone's health. I believe they are out to set up money making schemes for themselves to benefit from. Just like the poverty industry, we will have more of the policing industry - actual fron-line workers, paid committee members, people doing studies, congressional supervision, a Cabinet Secretary in charge of, and on and on. Just like health care. Same deal.
Freedom ping.
Nevada passed a smoke ban? Unbelieveable.
Read the whole article, it's a good one.
So would I.
Goes to show that some people have too much time on their hands and have nothing better to do, I wonder if they ever worked in a real job.
My sentiments exactly! The last adult frontier. How in the hell did they let this happen to them.
Well, I won't be planning on a Vegas trip anytime soon. If I want to gamble, I will go online.
If I want to shop, I will go online.
And I can smoke here at home and Vegas lawmakers be damned AND the horse they rode in on!
I read an article yesterday that quotes the antis saying if New Jersey won't ban smoking in Casinos then Atlantic City will do it. Yup, the city council is going to introduce a smaking ban in the casinos.
The nation outlawed online gambling... or, at least the gambling involving true profit. You can pseudo gamble just for kicks, if you like. But, isn't that kind of like smoking a nicotene-free cigarette? :)

Buffy Martin, Professional busybody:"Prior to her employment with the American Cancer Society, she served as a fundraiser and public affairs director for Planned Parenthood.
Buffy sounds like a peach, doesn't she?
And by the way, according to your link since she has worked for them the ACS has "passed" anti-smoker legislation in 23 states...... Since when did anyone elect the ACS to do any legislating? And a further BTW - what the H3LL is a non-profit doing lobbying or legislating anyway?????
We need to get this witch's email addy and that of the ACS and find out what kind of hypocrites they are.....a Planned Parenthood fundraiser now fundraiser for the ACS, one promotes death and choice, the other is anti-schoice and (supposedly) about protecting life.
Exactly! I was ranting about this myself. Their arrogance is boundless.
I'd love to see the ACS lose their non-profit status for this crap.
Oh boy.................
Well, the dumb azzes lawmakers don't want either state to suffer, don't you know! They want that wonderful level playing field.

ahhh I'm sorry. But you have been miss-informed. Gambling online is going bigger then ever.
"I smoke! Fu**in deal with it!"
High Five Joe! Good for you!!!!
