LOS ANGELES FOX plans to broadcast an interview with O.J. Simpson in which the former football star discusses "how he would have committed" the slayings of his ex-wife and her friend, for which he was acquitted in a widely-watched trial, the network said.
The two-part interview, titled "O.J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened," will air Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, the TV network said.
Simpson has agreed to an "unrestricted" interview with book publisher Judith Regan, FOX said.
"O.J. Simpson, in his own words, tells for the first time how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes," the network said in a statement. "In the two-part event, Simpson describes how he would have carried out the murders he has vehemently denied committing for over a decade."
The interview will air days before Simpson's new book, "If I Did It," goes on sale Nov. 30. The book, published by Regan, "hypothetically describes how the murders would have been committed."
In a video clip on the network's Web site, an off-screen interviewer says to Simpson, "You wrote 'I have never seen so much blood in my life.'"

Or Bill Clinton saying, if I did have sex with that woman here's how I would have....
"SHAME ON FOX!!!"
"DITTO"
DITTO THAT DITTO!
Hence the quotes around 'proven innocent'. I was being sarcastic - IIRC either OJ or someone near used that phrase. I fortunately was overseas during much of the trial but the news still permeated my locale.
Oy. I forgot about that. Kennedy has no shame.
makes me puke
FOX paid millions to merchandise a murder - that's Rupert Mc Murdoch live and as he really is.
It's actually for an entire month. And, yes, it is.
Why? How could you frame the standard so it could be applied in the future?
It shouldn't be watched, and I don't plan to. The network carrying it certainly isn't cloaking itself in glory. They should be ashamed, and I'm sure many of their staffers are. But in this, as most things, my disgust shouldn't be law.
Sydney and Justin are both adults now, so I hope they get their own book deal.
He killed them both, got off because of the retards on the jury and now he is writing a book about it. I hope the book dies on the store book shelves.
Plus, I would not watch the interview if it was the only thing on TV to watch.
He hasn't paid *all* of it, and he never will, because he will never have that much money. His LA house, cars, Heisman trophy and various other property were auctioned off to pay the judgment, and I have to assume that the advance and royalties from the book will be attached.
Fox should be taken to court and made to pay any fees, stipends, gifts, goodies and/any other money or tangibles over to the Goldmans.
I doubt that OJ was directly paid for the interview. Paying an interviewee is pretty wildly unethical, the kind of thing that would make the National Enquirer queasy. But he's pitching his book with his publisher doing the interview, so it ain't far from that,
Any money that goes to Simpson can be seized to satisfy the wrongful death judgment. The money that goes to Regan Press, a subsidiary of News Corp. (which also owns Fox), they get to keep. "Son of Sam" laws do not apply, because OJ was acquitted. I think that's why he's playing the coy "If I ..." game.
Glad you clarfied that. He was not proven innocent.
He should be but I recently read he's well-received by many. Which is it?
Interesting thought. Here's mine: He really believed he was justifed in murdering Nicole. She left him and took their children; he lost power over her...and his right to have her all to himself.
He was the adored football hero, a god in a sense.
Nicole was disloyal to the god, angered the god, and caused the god to suffer humiliation and unbearable jealousy. No one else had better walk where he should be. Nicole belonged to him!
Ron Goldman stopped by that fateful night. Was he inconveniently in OJ's path on OJ's mission to kill the person who "deserved it" in his warped mind? Or was Ron Goldman's death due to OJ's jealousy?
I feel sorry for her. Who the heck wouldn't be messed up, in her situation?
My recollection (IANAL) is that, at least a few years ago, there was no limit. There was a lot of outrage when the corporate scandals broke, because some of the crooks had pumped their money into mansions that ran well into eight digits, and were judgment-proof. There was talk at the time about capping the value of an exempted homestead, but I never heard whether it passed or where they set the cap.
They should rename it to "How OJ killed his wife"
The guy is a low life P.O.S. I would not be surprised if Ron Goldman goes postal on OJ.
What about OJ kids? I am sure they really appreciate their father saying how he would kill their mother. Nice... Sounds like a real family man that cares about kids and loves his late wife.... NOT!
