Rudy For President
Stardate: 0611.15

Posted on 11/15/2006 3:19:33 AM PST by The Wizard

They are beginning....the lies and the smears and the awful things that the fools think will turn good conservatives away from Rudy, but I tell you, and I am conservative, Rudy is the guy.....the Man....a leader for America who will hold our values and our heads up and not be scared away by liberals, the media or any tin horn dictator anywhere in the world

We need a man with values and principles and that man is Rudy G.....

they are going to karp about his re marriage, (so what) or the fact that he actually does not agree with every conservative position, but I say this election, the office of the president, it too important to be held hostage to "every stinking" ideal we all hold true....

CONSIDER the witch!!!!Is there anything more frightening than that.....

I would forgive Rudy G quite a lot if it meant that he would be represetnting America in the world....

They think the "Cowboy" was tough......

Welcome to New York

let's give these Islamofacists someone who will not be intimidated and who can kick some butt....

Let's give the media someone who knows where's the bodies are....Rudy was tried by Fire in NYC and he made it.....

I endorse Rudy G for President Of the United States.

FreeRepublic.com should also, IMHO

I'm with you, Wiz, because War on Islamofascists is my number one issue. Those who say Rudy can't win the nomination are parroting pundits and ignoring evidence. If the staunchly conservative base was so strong and so effective, we'd have more staunch conservatives in Congress.

Having said that, Rudy should take Ann Coulter's advice and lay out his positions afresh--now that he's no longer mayor of the Soviet Union.

Hi All-

The Wizard, he is a decent gentleman on a personal basis...but I will never vote for Rudy Giuliani based on his horrible anti-RKBA stance alone. He better than others should recognize the threat against society as we know it and the need for decent men and women to secure our homeland.

SAY NO TO RUDY!

I know I'll say this a lot in the future, so I'll just make it my tagline.

There is plenty "for real" stuff about Rudy that turns me completely off. Period, end of subject!

One of the best things Rudy did was to return that $10 million 'gift' from the Saudi after 9/11 who wanted to bring up "root causes" of terrorism.

I like Rudy a whole lot. In fact, I would say I'm actually fond of the man. I think he is a good man who walks the walk and a shrewd politician. But here comes the BUT: I do not want a president who is pro-abortion, pro-gun control and pro-homosexual marriage. If the position of president didn't encompass the ability to move the country in those directions, it would not be a problem. But the office of president does have the ability to move those agendas and others forward through the appointment of judges and by signing legislation into law.

Much as I like and admire Rudy, I won't be voting for him if he runs. His positions on these important issues have been his for a long time, and I don't trust politicians who flip-flop on these issues just to suit party primary voters. His divorce doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I think its extremely important to have a Repub nominee who can defeat Hitlery. If Rudy could defeat her (even though he isn't a conservative Repub) so be it!

I'm waiting to hear from Brownback.

I detest McCain and Romney. I like Rudy a lot, but he is just too far left of mainsdtream conservatism to get my vote, which is too bad. Just damn!

That is my feeling as well.

So much for the post-election Principle before Party bandwagon. It lasted around here for, what, about a week?

If anyone is being "held hostage" it is not our politicians but us.

I am on the fence. I could see myself endorsing him, but I will wait and see who else declares. I do know that in 2008 my two main issues will be War on Terror (and yes this includes Iraq), and fiscal responsibility.

I do have to wait and hear him talk about partial birth abortion, because for me that could be a deal breaker. I want a leader, and he does fit that bill. Go RUDY!

Rudy is the only rep who doesn't have the "wuss" factor. He will rip new ones everywhere.

I'll vote for Santorum; I'll vote for Rudy, I'll vote for Romney.

The social radicals on this forum won't fess up to the fact they want activist judges to impose their social values on the country. They are worried about the constitutionalists who will throw the contentious social issues back to the voters becuase they know that public opinion is, in most cases, in the muddy middle.

I like Rudy on certain things.

But is it true he is for gay marriage? If so...I certainly will NOT consider him.

I know Sam personally, and he is a good conservative. That said, he has one major flaw. He supports amnesty for illegal aliens, opren borders, and he also supports every immigrant except those who need it most...the relatives of citizens.

I will vote for Rudy, or McCain, or a chimpanzee in order to stop Hillary from gaining the White House.
