Thank you snugs! It is beeeeutiful! ;*)
Thanks, TPC, for all you wrote. Re this about our president and the political chaos going on right now (here and abroad), "I sure hope your prayers are mighty powerful, Gretchen," I have seen Him do amazing (a MAZE ing!) things when His people pray. "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much," James 5:16
Millions of people have been praying in this country for decades about the leftist takeovers of the institutions you describe. I believe we are at the place in this battle that Ronald Reagan stood when he said, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" That is, the cumulative effect of so much warfare prayer has put tremendous pressure on the enemies of liberty and right-minded governance and the cave-in has begun. I believe the specific turning point could be named as the election of 2000, when the vote stealing, corrupt pols didn't get away with another plunder. But we have seen that one battle does not win this war.
One of the most important lessons we can learn from 2000 and 2004 is this: "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not," Galatians 6:9
Eternal vigilance will win the day.
That warms my heart! I just knew we needed a presidential pup photo tonight.
Can we potentially blame this one on Bubba? You know, just in case you need a plausible-sounding scape goat?
Oh, that is so nice!
Hey snugs,
Things are going ok. College is interesting, but it can be hard to put up with the hippies(professors). On a slightly seperate note, one professor said something funny today...explaining a complex math/physics issue..."If it doesn't make sense, don't worry about it. It is totally not obvious and has made a lot of physicists upset for a number of years." It just struck me as really funny.
How are things with your dad? Have you been keeping busy trying new recipes? I need to learn a few for thanksgiving, I am not going to be with my family for the first time ever and I want to cook something nice.
Hope you are awake, haven't made it to the end of the dose yet, so don't know if you tucked in yet!

Good point Gretchen he ensures that there are no accidently leaks by him
Hi Snugs, just returned from Rome and London, have to say that I liked London much better than Rome. We traveled from London to Bath and saw the sites in between, thought Stonehenge was fascinating. People in London were so friendly and so helpful, 2 ladies saw me struggling with my luggage and actually carried one piece for me down a flight of stairs.
Next day post -- thanks for sharing the pictures of Jon. I love seeing pictures of our troops from Iraq.
Would love to hear more about it if you care to share.
I'm the manager of a ladies clothing store at our mall..It's just tile over concrete. We are the 2nd largest non-anchor store in the mall. It's alot of running and lifting.
i would probably get paid more if i was, just retail...as manager I work 45 -50 hours a week. The day after Thanksgiving, next Thursday i have to be at work at 5AM and work until 5 or 6 PM.
Hi snugs,
Late last night on PBS (Public Broadcasting) I caught the State Opening of Parliament (may have the title slightly amiss). I couldn't stay up to see the whole thing so I taped it. VERY interesting with Black Rod and all the figures in array with their titles and the pomp. The queen looked absolutely magnificent. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole thing.
