Giuliani has been carefully preparing for this moment. He spent the past election season accumulating a reservoir of good will among Republicans, campaigning hard for Republican candidates from Oregon to New Hampshire. He was particularly adept at raising money for those candidates and has established himself as one of few presidential hopefuls capable of raising the $100 million or so that is seen as necessary to win the White House. At the moment, he is getting help from Anne Dickerson, who ran President Bushs highly successful Pioneer and Ranger fundraising machine in 2004.
Giuliani has allied closely with Bush & Co. He made a high profile speech at the 2004 Republican National Convention and has gone on the road to stump with President Bush. There has also been speculation, started by the Washington Post's Kathleen Parker, that Ken Mehlman, the outgoing Republican National Committee chairman and former Bush-Cheney 2004 campaign manager, will be joining the Giuliani camp.

Condi isn't going to run, but if you really listen to Condi, including her interview with Katie Couric, I think you might find she is no more conservative than Rudy.
You must be looking at a different person if you believe ANYONE can "shred" Rudy. He chews up and spits out opponents on a regular basis.
Ya.....I heard him talk about federal registration of ALL firearms.
I heard him talk about requiring a federal license to own firearms.
I heard him talk about requiring a federal exam to own any type of firearm.
I heard him talk about gun owners should be licensed just like drivers.
I heard him when his administration filed 26 lawsuits against gun manufacturers
The President of the United States is required to take an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
Rudolph Giuliani has already shown that he has no intention of honoring such an oath.
Excellent points! Very well stated! Bravo!
I sat her laughing as the Freeper posted and you debunked it in short order! :)
One thing people seem to have forgotten about Rudy -- he went to every funeral he could possibly get to after 911. As I recall, the only funerals Hillary attended were funerals that would garner attention for her future prospects. Rudy didn't hesitate to stay down in the WTC area, even when he was told it wasn't safe... he is a strong leader, not a cut'n runner.. I liked him as Mayor of NY before 911 and I loved him afger 911.
You seem to be ignoring the difference between "L"ibertarians and "l"ibertarians. Libertarians are crazed wackos in a fringe third party, libertarians are a significant faction with the Republican party comprised of lazze faire, state rights types who care about fiscal issues and don't care too much about social issues (at least as far a government is concerned). "l"ibertarians have been Republicans for far longer than southern social conservatives. Regan himself said that libertarianism is the "heart and soul" of the Republican party.
You mean the Perpetually Pissed Off?
I don't listen to Medved, mostly Rush and Sean on the Internet.
The only medicine capable of curing the Perpetually Pissed Off is nominating a candidate incapable of getting more than 30% of the vote. Any other candidate is far too "liberal" for them.
Thanks! After last night and then seeing some posts on here I knew were wrong, I started to write a short paragraph and it turned into a lot more! :)
Baloney. Nor has he said any such thing about "babies".
Are you saying the loss of Saudia Arabian bases did not cost American lives?
Sorry, but I want a president who will not act rashly.
BuMpIn' it!

These same folks can change names but they cannot change how they write. I decided to take a shot in the dark last night and ask someone if they supported Keyes after their attack on Rudy. Sure enough -- Keyes supporter. I almost cracked up laughing.
Just like Santa, I am making a list and checking it twice just like in 2000 and 2004! :)
Steele has NO chance of being VP nominee and he shouldn't even be considered for such a post.
That truth isn't that hard to grasp, is it?
Especially in light of themost recent election.

Do you really expect us Conservatives to remain silent while you push a far left wing liberal candidate who supports gun control, partial birth abortion, amnesty for illegal immigrants and the homosexual agenda?
I think you have forgotten that this is a CONSERVATIVE forum. Of course most who have been here for some time know that you never were a Conservative to begin with.
