I've been a Fox News viewer from the very beginning, long before Fox & Friends was created. I remember when E.D. first appeared, filling in for Alison Costarini during the morning news. I've watched Steve, E.D., Brian faithfully all these years, and found them a wonderful break from the MSM's morning spew.
I will admit, I miss E.D., but I was willing to given Gretchen the benefit of the doubt at taking her place. Her performance has been lackluster and this morning she just sank the show for me.
How?
Gretchen Carlson went out of her way to correct Steve and Brian that the term "pro abortion" was actually "pro choice."
Nothing like spinning the ugly truth, is there, Gretchen?
I'm done with Fox and Friends. A show I trusted and enjoyed with my AM coffee isn't what it used to be -- TRUSTWORTHY.
I've been a FReeper since 1997 and have never posted a vanity, so I hope my fellow FReepers will understand. I think other Fox viewers should know what's happened to this staple of morning news, one we're finding we can depend on less and less.
I like this bumper sticker: Choose life, your mother did.
There's a reason that it's named the "Clinton News Network..." Are you surprised?

If you really want to forget politics and feel good, try this nice little piece of eye candy on TLC:

Good to know. On the contrary, no apologies needed. Valuable information imparted.
O'Reilly should remember back when the clinton's were in office, he used to get AUDITED every year by the IRS.
Which is why there's the "Pro-Life side, and the "Pro-Baby-Murderers" side.

Actually I already discovered 'The Take Home Chef.' I always wondered if people ever turn him down.
I mis-keyed the channel, and wound up on CNN, rather than FNS one morning, and caught sight of the host of "Robin & Company." Man, she's absolutely stunning! But of coure then she started talking and ruined everything...

E.D. Hill joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in March of 1998. Hill anchors "FOX News Live" from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET. Prior to "FOX News Live," Hill was co-anchor on the network's weekday morning program "FOX & Friends."
Prior to joining FNC, Hill was a contributing reporter for ABC News' "Good Morning America" from 1995 to 1998 covering family issues. Before that, she served as the morning and noon anchor for ABC's flagship station in New York, WABC-TV.
Prior to WABC-TV, Hill was WHDH-TV's (NBC-Boston, MA) mid-day news anchor, where she won a local EMMY Award for "Outstanding News Special." Earlier in her career, Hill served as a business anchor for CBS Morning News and CBS Radio Network and was the anchor for WPXI-TV's (NBC-Pittsburgh, PA) evening newscasts.
A graduate of University of Texas and mother of eight children, Hill is also the recipient of a Golden Quill Award for live spot news reporting.
I know I wouldn't, whatever the question was. ;-D
And how about a weekly show called "A Woman's Perspective," with Michelle, Mona Charen, Ann Coulter, Peggy Noonan, and Phylis Schlafley? I'd LOVE to see that sort of chat show!

So were Charlton Heston, Ronald Reagan, and Zell Miller.

E.D. used to try to keep Steve and Brian under control. Their sillines is boring.
I like Juliet, but she's no E.D. E.D. has a way of "seducing" the people she interviews as "just some blonde info-babe," but she was able to slam them into reality, and get around their spin. On more than one occassion, I saw her interviewing people who were trying not to answer her questions, and she simply wouldn't allow it.
She's terrific, and I miss her in the mornings on FnF, but with that developing baseball team that she calls a family, I can understand why she needs to start later in the day.

Wrong. The term "Pro-life" is used far less frequently by "pro-Choicers" than "anti-abortion." I would say the The same is true of the press, but that would be redudndant.
"pro-Choice" is a weasel word. The term "choice" requires and object (or multiple objects). I love to play games with folks who ask if I'm pro choice and I say yes and go on to explain why educational options for parents are so important and why we should defend their choice.
I honestly find the show unwatchable without E.D. I don't know why the guys clown around so much. They make the show seem ridiculous. I've been listening to my local radio guy in the morning. Sometimes in the car, I'll play CD's. I never used to do that because I thought I'd miss something on the news. Now I prefer to miss it.
No No. If you are for "choice" in abortion, you are pro-choice but if you are for choice in education, you are anti-education.
Same as it ever was
With E.D. they looked "funny," (She gave the show weight, caliber, presence). Without her and just bimbos instead, you're right, they look ridiculous. :)
Whatever.
I have hardly watched F&F since the election last week, and have turned the tv off for the balance of the day.
F&F has become too full of itself. The inane tag "and a little bit of fun" is already old.
I don't understand why they gave the middle chair to Gretchen. I don't understand why they didn't have a goodbye show for E.D.
Nevertheless, life is more fun with less tv.
"Isn't legally carrying a concealed weapon also a choice issue?"
I live in Texas. It is encouraged.
