I've been a Fox News viewer from the very beginning, long before Fox & Friends was created. I remember when E.D. first appeared, filling in for Alison Costarini during the morning news. I've watched Steve, E.D., Brian faithfully all these years, and found them a wonderful break from the MSM's morning spew.
I will admit, I miss E.D., but I was willing to given Gretchen the benefit of the doubt at taking her place. Her performance has been lackluster and this morning she just sank the show for me.
How?
Gretchen Carlson went out of her way to correct Steve and Brian that the term "pro abortion" was actually "pro choice."
Nothing like spinning the ugly truth, is there, Gretchen?
I'm done with Fox and Friends. A show I trusted and enjoyed with my AM coffee isn't what it used to be -- TRUSTWORTHY.
I've been a FReeper since 1997 and have never posted a vanity, so I hope my fellow FReepers will understand. I think other Fox viewers should know what's happened to this staple of morning news, one we're finding we can depend on less and less.
She's MISS AMERICA 1989. True.
Oh. I hope she's doing that "Oprahesque" show that comes on at 10 oclock because that old guy with the young chick didn't work for me. Neither did Linda Vester.
Call them, or email them, and tell them exactly why you will not be watching them any more. They don't know unless you say something.
We need to be more vocal to ALL the networks. Write, email call, write, email, call, write, email call... this includes our elected officials (who are a total joke, at this point) !
Thanks, VQ. I've mailed F&F a very civil and (hopefully) very clear letter on this topic. Maybe, as you say, this squeaky wheel will get greased with a replacement for Gretchen.
William Jefferson Klinton couldn't have said it any better!
I understand completely, I watched Fox (News) regularly since it came to the Charleston, SC market. I watched as it drifted left and, because of habit, still watched but less frequently and now after the mid terms, I too quit.
I have a constant daily reminder that I watched Fox, although I took precautions, I have a 'burn in' of their stupid rotating logo and other graphic's on my screen.
Thanks Fox and GOODBYE!!
I'm not leaving Fox, just F&F. To be honest, I love "Special Report with Brit Hume." There's a guilty pleasure in watching Brit try NOT to laugh at some of the Grapevine reports!
PC is not something I am worried about any more. Most people pull that crap and everyone falls for it. I continue to run my life as I always have. If someone doesn't like it I really don't care. I do not go out of my way to be rude or mean to people. But show your ass to me and I will retaliated in kind.
Basically, I quit worrying about what people thought of me a very very long time ago. If you sit around all day wondering, why doesn't Johnny and Jill like me you will drive yourself crazy. You cannot change people's minds about how they hate you, so I don't worry about it. If you don't like me, oh well, have a nice day, cause I ain't gonna worry about it. Life to way too short to run around all day trying to get everyone to LIKE you. I just live my life the way my mom and dad taught me, raised me, and how I have lived it to this day. To hell with what those others think.
The history channel keeps showing that hokey UFO garbage all the time.
'Yep, E.D. Hill was a bright light on that show. Why did Fox fire/demote her ? Too conservative ?'
I like E.D best....but I still listen to the show..as the MSN is unacceptable ...
I say email Fox and let them know how you feel...I did.
It is quite simple. Pro abortion implies a baby will murder. Pro "choice" implies no murder takes place, just a choice.
I use the correct term, pro-murder.
She was moved to later in the morning at her request, I believe. She does a fine job of saving the morning news slot from the damage that Gretchen Carlson did to that time segment.
Gretchen looks great in jeans!
Skyrocket? I'm not sure about that. Maybe if they had "no underwear" they would skyrocket:)
I figured FOX out a few years ago. The best you can say about it now is that it is the lesser of all evils. Murdoch and Hillary Clinton are great friends you know.
E.D. is a double divorcee, 3-TIMES married, permapregnant typical Texas "Hill-Betty" DemocRAT...how many kids now? Gretchen is not and she is hot! What turned me off to Donahee-Hill is she is a stated "liberal" and her belief that O.J. was innocent. Do some research!
LOL
I wish I had said that!
Me too! I find myself watching the Fox News Channel less & less these days. I hate hearing all that silliness they put on first thing in the morning. They will find their ratings are going to be sliding downhill - they've gone to the dark side too.
What's the choice?
They support the "choice" of abortion!
I iss E.D., too. The week-end AM show is unwatchable. Painfully, unwatchable. You can hear the air whistling between the ears.
