Al-Qaeda to explode 30 jetliners and trains in Europe on Christmas eve

Al-Qaeda may apparently be working on another grand terrorist act, this time for Europe. According to reports received from Western intelligence services, al-Qaeda’s terrorists prepare to explode 30 planes and trains across Europe on Christmas time. The terrorist act is said to be conducted at the end of December, when many people book Christmas tours or simply travel to celebrate holidays with their relatives or friends.
Al-Qaeda reportedly recruits most experienced Arab gunmen who participate in the guerilla warfare in Afghanistan. Acts of terror are planned to be conducted on board passenger jetliners departing from London ’s Heathrow airport in spite of the fact that the European Union has recently approved a set of strict rules regulating the transportation of liquid substances.
The leaders of the international terrorist network say that the White House in Washington is their prime goal. It was particularly said that Osama bin Laden’s organization trains a whole army - 12,000 terrorists – who will penetrate in the USA and attack the White House.

US media is not "lazy", rather deliberate in their bias.
I think it would be quite easy to blow up 30 trains across Europe. All they have to do is enter the trains at small town stops along the route. The security is virtually non-existent at these small stations.
They did get congratulations from terrorists and their sympathizers the world over.

A nuanced nuisance... where you flip... BEFORE... you flop.
There are so many ways. Getting on at the smaller stations as you said is one. A remotely triggered IED on the track of the Chunnel train is another. Car bombs are another. A suicide bomber in a crowded staion is another. Jihadist employees on the trains or in the stations placing time-delayed bombs are another...
This is just their way of celebrating democratic victory in the US elections.
Well since we know about it, I would hope that something will be done to stop it. UK is much better than we are at collecting data on terrorists or maybe it is the media showing that England is better than us...I don't know which it is truthfully with all the media junkets doing their own thing.

I think the headline writer meant to say
"AQ _would like_ to explode ..."
Which is, of course, perfectly accurate -- AQ would like to do a lot of things to the US and Europe (and I and most Americans would like to do a lot of things to AQ...) but aint gonna happen...

No, this is an agenda of demoralization, both of our troops and the population on the home front. It is designed to bring about the sort of loss the media fostered in Vietnam where, incidentally, our troops had not lost a major engagement with the enemy, either.
It is far, far more insidious than laziness, more like treason. (giving aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war).
See, that's the debate I have with myself about the media. Are they just lazy or are they evil? I've come to a decision: They are both.
The safest place from terror attacks in America is the House side of the Capitol Building.
Rabid dogs, which are akin to terrorists, have to be put down. Just inflicting terror/fear on them does not take away their crazed condition. Collateral damage is tragic but it will eventually come to that if we are to survive. For some reason, half of our country doesn't "get that".
