You are going to hear a lot of noise about Iraq. It will be just that noise. The Democrat Appeasement Monkeys and the Dincons Neo Isolationists think they are back in the charge after Tuesday. They aren't. President Bush is still Commander in Cheif.
The Junk Media wants to create the image that the Democrat Congress can dictate policy on Iraq. They cannot. So you will see a lot of posturing on Iraq but very little action. The reason is the Democrats KNOW they do not have the votes.
What happens on Iraq is up to President Bush. All the Democrats are trying to do is create the PR image that they "forced" Bush to "Fix" Iraq when he continues to let the existing plan go forward uninterrupted.
Now that Iraq is won and in the mopping up stages, Old Boy Washington DC on both sides of the asile have to rush in to present the image that THEY fixed it rather then have to admit, along with the Democrat Party Leadership, that they have been all wrong about Iraq from the start. They will do everything they can to create the PR image that they, not Bush "won" Iraq. It will be up to us to set the record straight over and over and over. Iraq Policy was never "broken" the Junk Media simply failed to report both sides of the story.
Read the data about Iraq. Read the dozens of articles Freeper Sandrat posts every day. We have won in Iraq it was simply a matter of mopping up the remnants and finish the turn over to the Iraqis. NOW the question is will President Bush let the Dincons and the Surrender Now Democrats throw it away? I suspect NO he will not

"Reid is mr pork."
He has a long way to go to catch up to the King of Pork, Sheets Byrd.
Meanwhile the DBM looks the other way.
That's why she disappeared for the last 3 weeks before the election. She needed more plastic surgery to help her keep a straight face while lying out her a$$.
I wonder what kind of spending bills she will push?
Yes it does. I just hope that Bush won't think that the 2/3 that sat home were sitting home just to send a message of some sort. That is what they USUALLY do in the mid-terms. It was nothing out of the ordinary!!!!! The only thing that would have gotten them out to the polls was another attack on our soil. That would have sunk the RATS big time.
Large numbers of people usually don't make an effort to vote in the mid-terms unless they are dissatisfied and really ARE trying to change things. That is the message I hope Bush gets, because it's the right one as far as I'm concerned.
Good post. Thanks.
I'm sure Maliki is not thrilled. I'm not 100% thrilled with Maliki but he DOES represent the elected government and until he proves to be a traitor to the cause needs to have clout. But Iran and Syria? Iran, a partner in the Axis of Evil, and Syria, a junior partner? This doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Well, that's a matter of perception. The #s released yesterday showed that GOP turnout was lower than usual (say, 2002). On the other hand, Dem turnout was higher, esp. in OH, WY, VA, and RI, which gave them the senate seats.

Anything to buy votes and try to consolidate power.
Too many Americans now see the Uncle Sam as the primary breadwinner. Anything Pelosi can do to expand this voting block of the selfish and ignorant she will do.
FR software just took a d*mp. Look at latest posts.
I'm gonna call my Congressman about Murtha.
Next thing they will want Saddam back in power.
I think MACACAIN things "all is forgotten," and the MSM will protect him - LOL
I think not! :)
Americans are noted in the world for being piss-poor allies. I don't think we'll be able to get Sri Lanka on our side. But I don't believe it will be necessary anyway, this is a nation of yellow-belly, chickens.
I wonder if these leaks are a deliberate attempt to try to motivate the Iraqis--kind of like a not-so-subtle signal to get off their a$$es and get their s#!t together.
