BELGRADE, Serbia: A Serb ultranationalist leader awaiting trial before a Netherlands-based U.N. war crimes court has gone on a hunger strike, his associate and the tribunal said Saturday.
Vojislav Seselj — in detention at the U.N. court, which indicted him for alleged war crimes during the 1990s wars in Croatia and Bosnia — has started "refusing food or drink except plain water," and also declines any medication for his high blood pressure and asthma, said Aleksandar Vucic, an official of Seselj's hardline Radical Party.
Seselj has demanded that the court allow his wife to visit him. He also wants "free choice of legal advisers, and normalization of conditions for preparing his defense," Vucic said, speaking in Belgrade.
A spokesman for the U.N. court in The Hague, Refik Hodzic, confirmed that Seselj had "informed the staff of the detention unit that he is declining food," but "we have not received any form of communication as to the reasons for this."

A spokesman for the U.N. court in The Hague, Refik Hodzic... A Bosnian Muslim is a spokesman for the Kangaroo Court. How befitting.

Eurodhimmis have gone insane.
Ridiculous kafkaesque proceedings.
The real criminals go free and patriots are held in prisons.

"In 1993, internationally celebrated film director, Emir Kusturica, challenged Vojislav Seselj,to a duel. He suggested that it should be in the heart of Belgrade, at high noon (!), with any weapon Mr. Seselj chooses. Vojislav Seselj refused this offer saying that he "didn't want to be accused of a murder of an artist"." If only he taken the challenge and Kusturica had won!
But having said that, Seselj is a lunatic genius who just may tie the Hague's Kanagaroo court in knots before he's through -- and that might be the only truly useful thing that Vojislav Seselj will ever have done in this world!

Its ironic that as a lawyer Seselj defended Vladimir Seks (present-day Croat right-wing politician) against commie dissident-type charges in the 1970s...
