Let me see if I get this last propaganda spin lie fed to the Junk Media by the Democrats right. After the worst sort of slime bag gutter politics and demagoguery for the last 6 years suddenly we are all suppose to play nice since the Dems finally managed to lie their way back into power?
I do not think so.
They think they run things but believe or not, President Bush has a veto pen and we still have more then 40 Conservative Senators to filibuster with.
They need to get along with us. WE can stop anything they want. Let us see if Democrats are stupid enough to forget that fact
We lost a battle, the war goes on.

Any RINOs out there? I lean Libertarian but I'm a card carrying Republican and will always vote that way.. does that make me a RINO in the other direction?

I suspect Chaffee would have gone over if it would have given the power to the dems.

Let's think about this analogy.
There are inner cities in America that have rampant crime, drug dealing, killing, rapes, robberies.....etc.
To solve that problem would you accept leveling those cities to save the innocent people from the criminals?

McCain cannot run with Kennedy in DC and then go home and win Reagan fans during an election.IMO, he can if the name Hillary Clinton heads the other ticket.

was Allen a RINO? VA tossed him. Was Santorum a RINO? PA tossed him. Talent a RINO? MO tossed him.
sure, in many states, the republican/conservative base can elect someone to statewide office, and in those states, if you want to use the primary system to get more conservative republicans, have at it. Lindsey Graham is a good example.
But if you start marching through the other states where the base alone cannot elect a senator - and start demanding that we "litmus test" out the so-called RINOs - we'll be down to 40 senate seats.
Someone explain to me how that is a formula for victory? What's our new party motto - "defeat is victory"?
