Let me see if I get this last propaganda spin lie fed to the Junk Media by the Democrats right. After the worst sort of slime bag gutter politics and demagoguery for the last 6 years suddenly we are all suppose to play nice since the Dems finally managed to lie their way back into power?
I do not think so.
They think they run things but believe or not, President Bush has a veto pen and we still have more then 40 Conservative Senators to filibuster with.
They need to get along with us. WE can stop anything they want. Let us see if Democrats are stupid enough to forget that fact
We lost a battle, the war goes on.

But to hear Freepers talk Rudy is a no-go because of his stand on abortion and guns.. by the time we decide on the "perfect" candidate, no one is going to have ever heard of him or her and Hillary will win in a landslide. In 2008 I'll take an imperfect man that is strong on national security and the borders and conservative on crime and spending and deal with the warts... especially if that man can beat the Clinton machine.
Remember, Rham Emanuel is getting all the credit for their win and he is a Clintonista, this was his audition for 2008, and probably behind the constant CNN ad for the dems.

I don't want to start an argument...but I found his logic to be tortuous and inconsistent. He sounded like a populist--like BOR. He does take positions that sound conservative, but in another breath takes a liberal stance...like minimum wage, for example.

We were all so concerned that he might not run again this year, in actuality, we lost the senate anyway, maybe he shouldn't have run.
To: Bahbah
Not the entire party, but he can't be happy with McCain, Frist, Warner and Graham. Hagle, Lugar, Collins, Snowe, Chaffee, damn, the list just goes on and on.

Well, if 43's taking some pages out of The Art of War, the 'Rats are well and truly screwed. And this will be a joy to watch. What part of that book said you let your enemy win and run roughshod over your territory?

But to hear Freepers talk Rudy is a no-go because of his stand on abortion and guns.. That was true of me before 9/11, but not since. In 2008 my top criterion will be "How well does this candidate understand the Islamofascist threat, and how aggressively will he fight it?"
