Sorry, but I simply disagree. I hold him accountable for the loss in Missouri, and I always will.
I love that yesterday he tells his listeners that it's not important to win elections! Well, what a philosophy.
People need to see Rush for what he is, he is out for himself and only himself. Which is fine. But don't tell me that he's "carried water" for anybody.
That's where HE lost all credibility.

Polly, there WAS something said after a Cabinet Meeting, and it was said from the Rose Garden. It happened while I was away for a few seconds. Several of us have been begging and pleading for those who saw it to tell us what it was. Nobody answers. They just fight. big sigh!!!!.......btw, howdy txrangerette....

Concur completely. The RAT honeymoon is mostly with the MSM; the honeymoon from Bush is illusory and for public comsumption, which is both good politics and good "stratergy."

I about ready to stop funding this bs. This is like paying a spoiled child to insult you and destroy your homeOMG Grampa Dave, you read my mind. I've been thinking that all morning. I'm sick to death of doing without in order to finance a playground for those who use it to destroy everything I believe in.

Bush's conciliatory tone toward the Dem's may be a desperate attempt to keep that from happening.
I don't think it will work. There is no so capable of cruelty as someone convinced of his or her utter righteousness, and the libs in Congress have self-righteousness the way others have BO and halitosis."
Much depends on how "conservative" or "moderate" these newly elected Dem's really are. Anyway, I don't see what else Bush can do now. He has taken the high ground, and his speech is very statesmanlike.

FOX has gotten so liberal lately that I hardly watch it anymore. I pretty much stick to the Internet for news and analysis I mean this in a very FRIENDLY way for you and all those who "adore" FOX.... BE CAREFUL... FOX is just following a business model that worked for the owners...That's all. They could turn against us at any time... but I guess they will continue to pander to Republicans/conservatives as long as they make money... so let's keep watching them :)

No problem, some threads can rack up hundreds of posts in a very short period of time.

I think you are correct, guess sticking your head in the sand and screaming is a new fad. I think it is very stange to blame reliable conservative voters for the GOP losing.
